Lol you are correct it is a shambles.

From what I can tell reading the WBA website. They made Charr champion in recess, and the Interim champion (Bryan) fought Stiverne for the full title in January 2021.

Then in Summer of 2021, Dubois fought for the vacant interim title.
Then they abolished the interim title shortly after.

So basically going off the WBA rules are mixing Charr up with Bryan. I.e. IF Charr fought Dubois it would be Champion in Recess v Interim Champion and therefore 55/45.

But as Dubois is fighting Bryan, who is the "actual" champion (fvck WBA) then it is only 75-25. They make it clear in the regulations that the interim only gets 45% when fighting a champion in recess. The interim is only entitled to 25% when fighting the champion. Just like the champion is only entitled to 25% when fighting the super champion.

Even so, seems like Warren/Dubois came out of that very favourably

Anytime you need to crank up Excel just to understand who gets what from a boxing purse you know you're dealing with the WBA.

 

Just saw an interview with Frank on seconds Out, was put on the spot about signing a female fighter and he had no clue who she was or her name.

 

Amusing. He was asked about the young lady a few weeks ago in an interview, and he knew exactly who she was, her name, and that she was a come forward fighter etc. Let's be honest though, he was probably talked Into the signing by his team in the office or they forged his signature or something.

 

Frank does very little of the day to day running now and its left to Francis.

 

Fair to say Frank Warren pulled it off at the weekend.

Joyce vs Parker is expected to be announced this week.

Zach Parker looks to have sold about 10k tickets, without the undercard fighters selling their yet.

I imagine Frank and others will do ok from the fall of MTK/Probellum. Which is a good thing because we deserve better cards than what we got on Saturday. Although the Lowe fight was excellent.

Really? His manager David Higgins said they wanted Parker to be a free agent so it would make it easier to make fights happen. It would have to be a 1 fight deal or something I would think.

 

Warren said he on Monday. I think they are doing a big BT deal announcement today where this will be made official
