Regardless of debate over Fury's historical ranking. His ability to move with the agility he does at the overall height and size seems to be unique in boxing history. Or is it? Were there any previous boxers who could be compared to Fury?

    No. Not even close.

Wlad had light feet when younger but moved in conventional manner with them. Fury does some crazy matrix S for a guy his size.

There were very few men his size who took PEDs and did a line of coke to help with his erratic movement.

    Overrated, Protected, Selected HYPE Job...

They Capitalized on marketability - 6' 9", loudmouth, appeals to all the younger Corny Humour crowd and Sold as the Next World Champion by his Prisoner Dad.

'THEY' Grabbed the Whole Sideshow package, ran with it, hyped it up and Protected it too CASH IN on.

personally I think ALL the Furies of Boxing have absolutely *******ized the Sport and it's History...

and that has NOTHING to do with FURY, who is a lovely guy.

but he not only has benefitted, he has seen opportunity & prize that IF it were Truly Down to Competition & Elimination, Fury would have been GONE A Long Time ago.

7 Fights in 7 years please, he is not much different than those 2 Brothers, whose names I don't even know.

Somebody posted a video of Fury sparring when he was away from the ring that time for a few years and he looked to weigh around 400 pounds. Even then he moved well. IMO, Fury is a "one of his kind" at this point. Somebody in the future might come along who is as big or bigger and moves as well, but as of now, he's the only big heavyweight I've seen with that type of movement.

It's not just movement either, the guy has arms that hang to his knees, he can switch to southpaw and look completely natural, he can punch, he can recover from punches, that last round of the second Wilder fight...I've never seen a guy "knocked out", get up and then win the rest of the round. He has size, speed, agility, heart, boxing IQ/instinct second to none, the only weakness I've seen is that he is not a conditioning fanatic.

    No in my opinion.

If Fury had never been born, and somebody had proposed him as a fictional boxer, I would have dismissed him as being implausible.

Well, they made up Greb. What would stop them from inventing Fury as well...?
