Of course he can as long all the title holders agree to spar and pitty pat like the title holders did at 168. OF course. In fact Canelo could probably do this at cruiser and heavy. He's simply too good.. And his counterpunching and head movement are beyond the realms of physics. P4p no 1 of all time for sure. He's also a totally clean fighter and he makes sure when he does have a real fight that he fights opponents on even terms. Definitely worthy of being called a champion. Viva mexiho

It just provides more evidence he is cheating, actually.

His legacy was ruined when he started draining fighters and then magically going up in weight and beating up 6ft+ fighters like they were weaker men, despite once ''not being ready for 160'' as an experienced full-grown fighter. PED suspicions were all but confirmed with GGG's comments about needle marks and then the actual bust with Mex beef.

The problem for Canelo legacy wise is that he went too far with the gains. If he'd just stayed at 160 or lower (remember he's not even a natural 160 fighter according to him), then he could have still cheated but it wouldn't have been as obvious. Because he'd be beating up guys his size.

But he couldn't help himself and now he's smashing big 168/175r's after looking like a dwarf in the face-offs and it's just not believable. There will always be a massive asterisk over him at the very least.

Ignore the hate above, if he becomes undisputed at light-heavyweight by beating Bivol and Beterbiev he’s top 20/25 of all time for sure. And he would undeniably be the pound for pound king of this generation.

I can't post the picture but if you look at the weigh-in pictures from Canelo-Chavez Jr, you can see the needle marks on Canelo's abdomen too. He's been doing it for years and now the money is even bigger he can get away with it just the same as he is the cashcow of boxing.

First Oscar colluded and now DAZN/Hearn are in on the hustle too.

Weak super middle and light heavy eras but still impressive for what is essentially a small guy.

    My head would explode

Big Red is a curious boxer. It was not too long ago he claimed to be too small to fight above 154 and now he is just a monster.
Maybe a late growth spurt??? Some Den Wong in Da Meats???

If only GGG didn’t have his Morale high ground, he too could be in the conversation.
But alas he is as clean as a whistle, nice guys finish last indeed.

Steak Nelo if he does this,
he will indeed be the greatest Mexican fighter of all time.
As well as the greatest of this era.

Clenelo is hardly a small dude. He's short, but thanks to PEDs, he's a goddamn dense brickhouse that's incredibly physically strong.

If he did this he'd certainly be climbing the ratings in a hurry.

Undisputed at 168 and 175 would be an amazing feat.

Most accomplished Mexican fighter all time for sure.

Wins over the best fighters in 4 divisions. Very few fighters have ever done that.

There is a big big difference between being a titlist in 4 divisions and being the Champion because you beat the best in 4 divisions.
