Hopkins fought into his 40s, but he relies on dirty tactics, holding, boxing IQ, the ability to nullify opponents. GGG fights nothing like this, and therefore as his athleticism slides, so will he ability against younger opponents.

There is a good reason Canelo has waited this long and taken it to 168. Prime GGG would brutalise every version of Canelo. We saw him do it past prime.

He is physically fit but from what I saw in his last fight it looks to me he's well past it. Even his power didn't seem to be what he once had. I really do not want to see him fight canelo again, he will get seriously injured.
