... what place would the Fury Vs Wilder trilogy take?
    Examples:
    Bowe vs Holyfield
    Ali vs Norton
    .
    .

I think it would be 5th at best.

    1. Ali-Frazier
    2. Patterson-Johansson
    3. Bowe-Holyfield
    4. Charles-Walcott Quadrilogy
    5. Fury-Wilder

I touched on that around the 13 minute mark. In terms of heavyweight trilogies, it's certainly a memorable one and I believe history will see it as such.

    Very highly.

It had such a good back story.

AJ had just loss. Wilder could seemingly ko any human being with one punch. Fury was considered long past his best and an outrageous cherry pick despite his championship history.

Then Fury was robbed blind in his great comeback, dominated Wilder in the second. And again in the third.

The third fight whilst the most entertaining, was also the most meaningless.

In terms of entertainment I would rank it over Ali-Norton for ehat its worth.
It s certainly not in the top 3 HW trilogies.

This although i'd rate Holyfield/Bowe over Patterson/Johansson. Just because Holyfield/Bowe were all competitive exciting fights, where as Patterson/Johansson were one sided fights outside of their 3rd meeting, but its all preference but still a good list.

I have to say though i don't overly enjoy Fury/Wilder trilogy, the 1st meeting was boring outside of the last round. The 2nd fight was a good performance from Fury, but it's not a fight i'd say i really enjoyed or would watch again.

The 3rd fight was exciting in the early rounds but i still found it sloppy.

I haven't rewatched any of the Fury vs Wilder fights in their entirety, but out of the fights you listed i could easily rewatch them again.

Maybe i'm just not a fan of the big modern Heavyweights, but it's all just preference.

Right now they benefit from a lack of HW trilogies. My hope is they really earn the high spot by racking up a few more meaningful wins before retirement.

For me, good trilogies need to be an actual 2-1 or 1-1-1 in reality.
So Fury vs Wilder or Norton vs Ali don’t count imo. (both 3-0 in reality).
Fury and Norton shouldn't have lost or drawn a single fight, and both trilogies were just fabricated.

I agree on Fury vs Wilder, but i don't agree on Norton vs Ali. I thought Ali won the 2nd fight clearly in a competitive fight, i had no issue with the scoring in that fight.

For me only the 3rd fight between Ali/Norton is controversial. The first two fights were scored correctly in my view, I had Norton winning 8-4 in the 1st fight, Ali winning the 2nd fight 7-5.

And I haven't seen the 3rd fight in a long time, but my general feeling was Norton won it.

But yeah for me only the 3rd fight is controversial.
