A natural evolution I suspect but seems quite expensive given the lack of the undercard. Do we think this is the new price point or do they just see this as that big a fight people will pay regardless.
Few people buying this will even think about the undercard, never mind watching it. Nor will they fill the stadium until about 10 minutes before the main event. £25 for a fight that's filled Wembley to over its usual capacity is fair. It's likely to become a British mainstream event in the same way Joshua-Klitschko was; on the breakfast and teatime news in the run-up to fight week and so on. I just hope BT has no problems fulfilling its biggest PPV event to date. People pay £50-100 for 90 minutes of Premiership football, £200 for a music festival where they're only really into the headline and spend the day boozing; £25 is not unreasonable.
Events like this and AJ fights are geared towards the casuals who don't give a **** about the undercard they only care about the main event. So no surprise.
No surprise. Shame Jarrad Anderson got injured as would have liked to seen him fight over here. But like mentioned most, sadly most people watching are not interested in undercards.
Not surprised. I really hope we get 1or2 decent evenly matched undercard fights but I can’t see it at this late stage. yarde vs pitters and lowe vs bellotti would’ve been fine
