Cruiserweight Solis is still the best cruiserweight in AtG H2H list. I'd say 2000-2004 version of Solis beats Holyfield or Usyk in cruisweight bout.

Solis is olympic gold medalist, and 3x times world champion in -201 division.

He was tremendous as a dedicated amateur sucks he didnt follow suit as a pro.
Hard to say he could have been the best cruiser all time
Usyk routinely went 12 Holyfield even fought a 15 rounder.

This forum gives more credit to folks for fights that didnt happen than to those who actually fought fights.

It's the amateurs, who cares? Teófilo Stevenson stayed home and smoked Castro's cigars when he could've whooped Ali seven days a week and twice on Sunday yadda yadda yadda, so **** him. Solis, in his own way, is just another who didn't have what it took to make things happen as a pro.

Exactly. The guy was a great amateur but lacked discipline as a pro. One underrated thing about Holyfield and Usyk at CW was their discipline. Both guys wanted to be undisputed and no one was gonna stop them. Solis wanted liked food so he ate himself out of the division.
