Here is a man who has taken on all comers. And beat the odds in everybody's back yards.

He looks skinny as hell. And mentally and physically drained.

Delay the rematch. Until he can get his body and mind in top condition. Hes earned that right.

3 months should be enough really. We don't know how much he weighs now, but reality Usyk would still be effective at this level at 210lbs.

Remember Wilder was 212 when he almost KO'd Fury.

You don't need to be heavy, especially if you're a fighter like Usyk where you don't need to KO anyone.

He should take what he agreed to by taking the rematch clause in the first place.

People critise Whyte for not taking the Joshua fight - but he agreed to the terms of the 1st fight with Joshua, he didn't agree to the terms of the rematch clause. And without agreeing to the terms of a rematch the fight wasn't happening because Whyte had no bargaining power being a voluntary.

Usyk however as mandatory, did. If the fight had gone to purse bids, there is no rematch clause. Usyk accepted a higher split than he would have gotten if it had gone to purse bids. If Usyk has agreed to certain terms of the rematch then he'll have to stick to them.

If people want to **** on Dillian Whyte for his woe is me for the money he's getting than they should give Usyk the same energy if hes getting less than Joshua because he's made that business decision.

No way AJ gets any credit if he wins with the war going on. Lose lose for him.

Exactly. The problem is he ain't getting any younger as well. He was already past his prime when he fought AJ the first time, he is 35.
Still they should have delayed the match and both him and AJ had a tune up fight.
Or Usyk should have just call it a day and end his career on HIGH.

Really, really feel for this man.

On the flip side, no way Usyk has his get out of jail card if he loses

A-side decisions aren't based on any P4P skillset, roads traveled, or prior titles won. It's dependent on $$ and popularity (Unless both are on equal footings)

Usyk will be tied to the stipulations of the contract that he had to agree to just to get the Joshua fight in the first place,no doubt the rematch will still heavily favour Joshua just as it did when he rematched Ruiz .

Own venue, referee, judges, athletic commission, testing agency, decide the gloves, date of the event, everything.

Said it from the beginning that he should set the schedule on his return. All sorts of beltholders got a year or more *after boxing resumed* because their favorite venue was closed or similar garbage.

I think we're closing in on the point where both should be allowed a tuneup fight though. Usyk should get the time he needs but AJ shouldn't be a hostage during the wait.

He'd get the belts back and be back on top, that's worth more than people believing he beat the best version of Usyk.

Shame it will be in the black void of Saudi

    Void of life and emotion

Whilst Usyk does his most emotional walk out of all time.

With the big dumb bodybuilder gauping in his corner

Eddie will play Usyk but in return Usyk will knock Big Femi OUT.

The most important thing for Usyk is to make sure they get a foreign ref because Howard Foster will be itching to Brittish stoppage the **** out of Usyk.
