The best part for me is 0:57 when a man's hat falls off :D
Do you think that would work in practice against Tyson Fury?

When Bundini told Ali how hard he saw Foreman hit the heavybag in training Ali asked him if the heavybag moved.

It's a toughie. Fury s brave enough and chin and gut s.
But George hits like a killer, but then again Wilder is up there.
Is it crazy to think Fury can take him deep and stop him!?

Fury would absolutely own George. It would be Zaire on steroids. NFW Foreman gets out of the mid rounds without collapsing in exhaustion.

You guys forget that Wilder had better power and stamina than 70s Foreman and still got winded (twice) from Fury wrestling with him.

I would have to go with big George.

As somebody pointed out, that he couldn't land anything on Ali especially when he was on the ropes doing his rope-a-dope, whilst Fury moves well for a fella of his size he is no Ali in terms of speed footwork, he has good upper body movement but that would not be enough, he would have his successes in there, but George has raw power and when he hits it is a body numbing hit, Wilder hits hard but it is a stinging hard, this makes a difference.

George by late stoppage for me.

Who did George ever stop late in the 70s?

Tyson Fury would move. While George Foreman is hitting like this, his head is completely unprotected.
    That's why I said:

Fury via UD. This ain't not Zaire performance though. Don't get it twisted. Fury survives some scary moments where he gets hurt and/or dropped at some point(s) in the fight. Foreman will effectively cut off the ring & pound away at Fury's wide mid-section (Fury will be p*ssing blood for weeks). Fury uses his size & rough-housing tactics to neutralise Foreman's attack. Fury's strategy will be to outbox Foreman in center-ring, and then when Foreman comes in, he smothers & leans all his weight on Foreman's back (also using illegal headlocks) with other rough-housing tactics on display.

One thing for sure is that, if this was Zaire, with the same small ring; Fury would be toast - as there's no way he survives rope a doping like Ali did, as he doesn't have Ali's durability or punch resistance...

Fury has not faced the level of opposition that George did.Foreman by knockout

George got stopped by the one guy who was at Fury’s level.

Hell, Foreman was moving the heavybag and the dude attempting to hold it still. That footage is just nuts.

I'd like to see Wilder hit a heavybag. I feel like he'd be more likely to knock a hole in it than move it and the guy holding it, like Foreman did. Foreman had this slow thudding power that's interesting to watch. He sort of seemed to defy physics with how hard he hit despite the low hand speed.

At least partly because he didn't fight intelligently. Once Ali started laying on the ropes, Foreman should have walked to the center of the ring and waited. Shavers did this to Ali when Ali tried rope-a-doping him.
