I had to laugh though when Greg said Jimmy Paul was the best of the three lightweight champions

I always loved watching Haugen fight, a very proud & great career...

I met him in 2006, I hope he is healthy, well and enjoying what life has since brought him.

Greg Haugen is one of those fighters that epitomizes the Name & Meaning of "the Prize Fighter!"

GOD Bless you Sir, and Thank you.

My brother recommended this to me. Have to check it out.

Haugen could fight, but he also knew how to sell tickets haha!

As a promoter, I’d take one of him over a dozen stoic EEs.

His second fight with Pazienza was a masterpiece.

What does EE stand for, Pat? Obviously, I have a vested interest in this.

Was he obnoxious, Sal? I'd be interested to know more about his behaviour as he seemed to be bat**** crazy. Going up against prime Chavez in front of over 100,000 Mexicans and insulting him took some balls.

I love the Greb lookalike line as well. I can certainly see it.

There was a local radio station that kind of adopted him as their "man on the street " reporter for obvious shock effect. They used to have him do movie reviews and every other word was bleeped out on the air. Just hysterical.

Another time, the station had a charity golf tournament. Now, golf is of course an austere, civilized game, where decorum plays as much a part as anything. Except when you play with Greg Haugen.

Greg was lighting up the course with expletives in a very loud voice until finally course management had to ask him to simmer down. Greg challenged them, "YOU WANNA PIECE OF ME? YOU WANNA PIECE OF ME?"

If you Google the Robin and Maynard Show I know they have a site that has old radio show clips. The stories might be in there.
