In an interview the other day, Frank Warren railed against Whyte and accused him of being in breach of contract. He also explicitly said he had a stand in ready if White didn't accomplish certain items as defined in the contract.

Whyte is acting in a very strange manner. Dude is going to make many times more than he has ever made, and Warren, whose group won the purse bid, is the guy paying him so Whyte is his son now.

A fit Ruiz would be a more intriguing opponent than Whyte.

You'd have better luck finding a unicorn than a "fit Ruiz".

This is great news if true. I don't think that anyone is 100% Whyte actually gets in to the ring. Taking that L to Povetkin hurt the man's soul more than he shows in my opinion. I massive chunk was taken from his pride, and getting worked out by Fury in front of a full stadium could put him in to Wilder-esque levels of delusion.

I'd rather see Ruiz fight Wilder and it should be an easy one to make. Mostly I'm still angry they created such a poor undercard. These people don't care about the sport.

I'm surprised there's anyone left who hasn't been exposed to omicron at this point.

Why doesn't that fight happen? I'd love to see that one.

Ruiz Jr & Whyte are horribly matched styles to beat Fury

Both need space at fairly close range which Fury never gives. As a big man fighting men the size of Whyte/Ruiz his whole life it's easy mode.

ROFL if that happens it will basically just be Fury trolling for 12 rounds.

At least Whyte's power brings some excitement to the table, along with the rivalry.

Ruiz vs Fury will basically just be Fury vs Chisora 3.

Ruiz wont be able to do anything and will be there for the cash.

The replacement should bee Joyce. That would be a lot more interesting.

I think they have to wait for Wilder to see what he wants to do. Will he work his way back into a title shot? Unclear whether his ego can handle it. But I think it would be a fun fight with a guaranteed knockout one way or the other.

God a lot of you are either stupid or lazy or both. Ruiz is not going to fill in at the last minute because he wants to fight more bums before getting his undeserved shot. and Fury wouldn't fight another guy in the top ten because he had to be taken to court just to make him fight both Whyte AND Wilder within the last year. So stop this nonsense already
