There’s only been 1 press conference he hasn’t turned up for. Or has there been others he’s missed?

I think if he doesn’t do the media stuff in the week building up to the fight that is a bit of a dick move tbf. We’ll have to see.

Fighters dream of being in fights like this..

If nothing else It could have been something to look back on, for dillian. show the grand kids, talk about down the pub, re-watch the build up with old butties as you all age and still be called champ in the local, when you never were!
But you get the jist :cunaooooo:

plain stupid of dillian, really is sad to see him deciding to roll this way for the biggest moment of his life.

All he'll have to look back on is a ring walk and him falling over his tiny feet for a few rounds :risas3:

    Sad.

It's unprofessional, immature and petty. The fans are missing out on experiencing the hype that helps generate interest and anticipation for a big fight.

Let's face it, for some of these big fights, the press conferences are better than the action in the ring. Whyte is a clown.

Do you really think this idiot yardie would go down the pub? The idiot is too cool for that.

This entire debacle has already been discussed to death but I think it's a shame Whyte is doing this. For the first time in a very long time I was actually looking forward to the pressers. The back and forth between the two would have been hilarious.

Hearn is not Whyte's promoter for this fight. Nor is he contracted to Whyte - as stated by Hearn many times.

This is entirely on Whyte though, he's clearly being advised to behave a certain way and he'll believe he's concentrating on the fight more than Fury is. I hope he gets sparked out quick and we never hear from him again.

It’s his decision at the end of the day.He pulls off the massive upset we say he’s played a blinder. He gets k.o’d or schooled he looks a right tit.Either way he still has to get in there on the night so don’t see the issue.

Don't blame Whyte to be honest... he's clearly been shat on and thought well **** you then, and resorted to this.

However from start to finish this whole event has been a complete shambles

    Exactly.

For all the hype and self serving nonsense,0000000 it takes two men to make a fight andif one side pulls every every trick in the book to get one over on the other theres always the chance that there will be zero goodwill from the other party. Frank has the biggest share of the pie, Whyte has zero incentive to make that any bigger.

Not sure why everyone is up in arms, this embarassing spectaacle is more entertaining than any of the bollocks we'd have been served up at the presser.

Why is everyone pretending that this isn't just the business of boxing? If the shoe was on the other foot Whyte would've done the exact same thing. He chanced his hand, he lost. Tough. It's not like he's been massively ripped off or anything either. He's getting a massive payday, a potential 50% bonus, a Wembley fight and no rematch clause. What more is it that he wants or rather thinks he's entitled to? Oh some words were written on a bit of paper somewhere that says he should get more . This is boxing for crying out loud the rules are made up as they go along, you get what you can negotiate as is always the case. If you're not the A side you will have to make concessions until you become it. Do you think every mandatory there's ever been got the exact amount that the rules state?
I can't believe there are people defending him, I've never seen this in all my years of watching boxing but some of you are acting like it's fair game. The guy is utterly pathetic.

After the Fury fight - if it becomes a reality, I still doubt it - Dillian Whyte signs with Boxxer / Sky Sports.

Whytes always been a piece of ****, flat track bully, he should have been thrown out after the first round against Joshua for his antics, especially coming on the back of a drugs ban. We would have never seen him again if that happened.

He's getting paid a fortune for this fight, a fight he shouldn't be in as he was eliminated in a fight against Povetkin in his promoters back garden.

Know your role Dillian, you're here to take a beating, its a pity fight, just nod along, throw those superman style lunges, spin around a bit off balance and then take your cash and run off to the hills with fake bro.
