    AJ is not an ATG.
    But he'd still beat Louis.
Btw, modern ATG means post 60s/70s

One thing for sure is that the only version of Prime Tyson that Louis beats is '89' Bruno version. Louis KO's that version of Tyson (IMO).

If you get KO'd by Ruiz, you might just leave your fight with Louis on a stretcher.

Say what..................Tillis did and Tillis dat

Tyson was 19 nineteen NINETEEN...and it was his 20th fight as a pro......had the flue and still WON...you dig ?

Louis ran into a washed up old chinny Cruiser in his 24th fight and was stopped getting hit with the same right over and over and over and over again.

BUT BUT BUT Douglas ..............Buster Douglas had more size/skill/fluidity /pop/speed of hand and foot than the Kraut could ever wish for and put it together for one night, has Schmelling more upstairs capabilities , yes , but thats it.

Insert Schmelling instead of Tillis and Schmelling goes to sleep , hard. fact.

Louis is tailer made for Tyson, shuffling right in front, relative upright, fights fire with fire and rarely clinches., is no defense wizzard and has a questionable chin..................nobody goes to to toe to toe with Tyson and survives, fact...............Douglas did not against prime.............Ruddock did against diminshed and was beaten like a rented mule.................Holyfield did not against a complete washed up post prison version...............Lewis did not against the ghost of Mike Tyson.

Tyson was never ko'ed by a cruiser and no, Pedfield aint no cruiser, was never wobbled /stunned by former Middle weights and did not kiss the deck vs obese Butterbeans like Louis did.

BUT BUT BUT Baer, lol, Tyson beats both Bear oafs in the same night, especially Max, pure target practice against a barn door

A stoned washed up Tyson finished Golata with ONE punch........exactly ONE round longer than prime Lewis.

A shot to shid Tyson waxed Botha with a eight inch travelled right.......and Botha was never ever chinny...

Tyson stops Louis relative quick, his chin aint prepared to take that kind of assault from both hands..................Tysons right is light years ahead of Schmellings and he aint needing a hundred to mfinish the job, one will do with a viscous follopw up and down goes Louis.

George Foreman is the only fighter, and that is still a big if, to go toe to toe with Tyson and prevail.

You do not address what I said at all.
I actually favor Tyson, did you even notice this?
I do not know if you even read my post, since you repeated that I said it was his 20th fight.

That is not tiny number, the fact that he was not yet 20 is-but mitigated by what I note, Tyson was around the start of his prime. I also said he got better. But Louis was almost exponentially better than Tillis.
But you betray mucho bias. This is the advocacy of a fanatic Tyson supporter.

Firstly, it is the very definition of opinion that Tyson beats Schmelling that night he was run close by Tillis.
A hard fact is an indisputable well established thing-not speculating who beats who. This is basic logic.

Anyway feel free to start a thread about whether Tyson that night beats Schmelling, let alone takes him out. It is possible, but Schmelling was an excellent strategist, had a much better career than Tillis, & there was less than 15 lbs. between them.

Schmelling was not washed up against Louis, that is absurd.
    Otherwise he never wins.

I do not think you can fin anyone to agree that Tyson was completely washed up vs. Holyfield-either time.
Past prime, but still pretty formidable. You can say completely washed up on his last couple of fights.

You do know that "Kraut" is an ethnic slur?
Don's use it at all. And this is from someone whose Father's parents were murdered in concentration camps when he was a little boy.
While Schmelling was a great guy in his 99 year life, helped with Louis' funeral expenses, was principled & Hitler punished him.

I am open to hearing the argument that Tyson had the flu vs. Tillis. Please send any evidence this was the case.

But please stop the mocking, contemptuous "But, but but..." type of disrespect where you act like anyone who disagrees with you is a stuttering idiot.
Show me that you are beyond the juvenile flaming & Ego-bound over-identification with a fighter that makes everything personal & tribal.

Schmelling WAS washed up, old, thats why he was picked for a up moving Louis but it back fired. Fact.

Schmelling was even older and shot in the rematch..............never ever won a meaningful fight after., war or not war.

I was actually born in Germany to German parents and I can call them anything I please.

But I will e mail you a detailed Hurt Feelings report, I promise.

BTW, I was just informed that you have been diagnosed with TDS, a severe illness with no known cure, my deepest sympathies.

In an all time sense Lewis is arguably the greatest to ever fight in the weight class. However in H2h matchups I don’t really rate him against a lot of more recent fighters especially current fighters due to their size and power. As for whether he would beat Tyson, I think he would get batter and probably stopped within 4 or so rounds.

    "Could Louis beat Mike Tyson?"

Of course he could. Joe Louis was a great Boxer - Puncher. As with many Boxer - Punchers, he had problems with fighters who could out box him at long range. Tyson was a fairly close, mid range fighter, who often threw looping combination punches, with power. That puts Mike right into Joe's wheel house for his more compact punches in bunches, with equal power. Joe could fight from the outside, or at mid range against Mike, and he's likely to do both. Joe also carried his power late as needed. I'm going with Joe Louis in this match up... IMHO, of course.

Of course Joe Louis can win. I only think that out of 10, or 100 fights "Joe Louis Vs Mike Tyson", most of the fights would be won by Mike Tyson.
Because of his offensive and defensive.

    Bingo

Until Tyson fell off the rails culminating in the Douglas defeat you can count on ONE hand how many times he was severely clipped, once by Boneclutcher, once by Tucker and once by Bruno, thats it.....and he walked thru all of those hits without barely blinking, firing right back and those three aint no skinny Cruisers or ex Middles./Light Heavies

Louis in his absolute prime was wobbled , knocked down, ko'ed , stunned etc far more frequently against sometimes absolute palookas who had no business being in the Ring with him.

    Very poor post indeed. Fact.

I doubt very much that you were born in German to German parents because, if you were, you'd know that Germans find the term 'Kraut' offensive. And being of that heritage wouldn't give you the right to use derogatory terms. That's a ridiculous idea.

You've let yourself down and it's a shame that you have resorted to being sarcastic with the 'hurt feelings' report line. It's 2022 and we don't bandy such slurs around like it's still the 80s. Nor do we use the old chestnut about 'hurting your woke feelings' as a get out of jail free card when we've been obnoxious. I've got a perfectly thick skin and I didn't think too much of your post either.

You came across as a complete bell end (Helmut in German) and I can call you that seeing as how I am one myself.
