He’s old enough to be one but maybe to0 slow to make one:D

Dude is 40 and when Canelo looks lost for a few rounds it will be satisfying.

I would not bet against Big Red as he is more active and stronger at this point in his career but GGG still gives him a few good lost rounds:boxing1

Murata has much more to offer than Yildirim, for sure. I'm no admirer of Smith, just a big but relatively basic guy, but I guess some would care to argue that he's about on par with Murata. Plant and Murata are the same level, though styles and attributes are obviously nuanced. Wastrel Joe Saunders is a bit better than Murata.

Murata never fought any of those guys you mention, though. His résumé isn't up to much, in addition to being at an obvious technical skill deficit when compared to Canelo.

That's an optimistic outlook. You're entitled to it.

The 3rd fight is so personal that Canelo waited for four years so GGG would age. Golovkin is a true warrior not one of these paper champs Canelo has been beating. GGG would beat the crap out of Plant, Saunders and Smith.

Then again B Hop was still a beast in his old age so you never can tell but I feel GGG is in danger at his age

i’ll never understand the obsession of American boxing fans who ridiculously hate GGG, it’s so funny to me.

I'm honest to goodness not sure which is more hilarious: Andre the well-documented Audience Repellent being the A-side against a PPV ticket seller, that he was totally up for meeting GGG at catchweight between 160-168 when his next fight was at 172 for the first of his "acclimation fights" for a full-time move up to 175, or the idea that GGG is somehow a "weight bully" for calling at Floyd Mayweather when EVERYONE was calling out Floyd Mayweather, including Andre Ward!!

It's almost like people were fishing for a (minimum!) 8 figure payday or something.

The ref saved Murata's life. Murata may never be the same. Golovkin landed enough bombs to ko five guys. Murata was unbelievably durable and courageous.

I don't think Ward ever proposed a catchweight. If that's Olu's contention, he needs a source. Ward stated that he would make 168 one final time for Golovkin, that is true.

I’ve been meaning to ask. How is the Lions Den brotherhood these days?

Started to regroup following the destruction of Wilder?

    Send my regards.
