It would have probably been an overly cautious affair between two defensive minded fighters. I think Winky probably could have eeked out a decision in a stinky kind of fight.

154 was too high for Floyd. Remember when Oscar controlled Floyd with a jab for six rounds? Winky was a southpaw shell with a jab, and basically a super middleweight getting down to junior. It would have looked similar to the Trinidad fight. Floyd was smart for not taking that one.

It would have been a terrible fight. The only appeal would be to see Floyd take a certain L by getting jabbed for twelve rounds. Something different, but sure not exciting

Was Winky ever in an entertaining fight? The Taylor fight was okay from memory

Oddly enough, his fight he lost were more entertaining. JC Vasquez, Fernando Vargas, and Harry Simon bouts were decent. By Winky Wright fight standards I guess

Hearns was the best fighter ever at 154 and his fight at 154 v Benitez was one of the best displays of science in a fight ever.

He was too small for 154 had to starve Canelo and constantly dip below his waist to win.
