It always needed something like this from above boxing to stop, or slow down this outfit, the sport itself and everybody is more than happy to look the other way as long as everyone gets paid.

When all the stuff happened in Marbella, they just rebranded to MTK and nothing changed. When the Panorama doc came out, they rebranded to Probellum and nothing changed. I’d be surprised if this is the end of things, give it a few months and another company will pop up from somewhere and take over.

Appreciate people need to make a living, but it’s hard to have any respect for the people involved who knew exactly what they were signing up for and where the money came from. Whether that’s the boxers, Sam Jones, Catterall and Peet, Smith etc. they’re all complicit in this and need to take a real look at themselves and any ‘moral compass’ they feel they might have.
