Fundora showed he can be hurt, I like Tszyu’s chances in that fight now. Harrison might be too skilled a boxer for Tim at this stage. It’s a very even division between these guys and Charlo-Castano.
Somebody said this before but he’s clearly won his fights where he has got the decision. The judges had Lubin up on the cards didn’t they? If anything he was getting stiffed by the judges
He's received plenty of close decisions. The Daniel Lewis fight is a case in point. That was a 6/4 fight that was scored wide to Beanstalk. I don't have a problem with it for the reasons I explained above.
Fair enough, I don’t remember that being a close and competitive fight. I gave Lewis 2-3 rounds from memory
It wasn't an electric fight. Fundora tried to outbox Daniel for periods of the fight and looked ungainly doing it but managed to snuff out Lewis out as the fight wore on. But I recall a few posters who were scoring it live either had it a draw or Lewis even winning. At any rate most didn't agree with the wide scores at the time. Fundora has come a long way. He isn't much more skilled or anything but he is a lot more aggressive and backs his chin which seems pretty solid.
This content is protected Tony Harrison is ready to come out here if he gets to spend 'an hour in first class'. Better not tell him it's a minimum 12 hour flight.
Just had a thought after Tszyu's last fight where he beat up Gausha who is a couple levels above the rest of Tszyu's past opponents. Looking back Tszyu would've beaten the living crap out of Zerafa.
Starting from Detroit an hour would barely get him over state lines. Maybe he just wants a taste of the high life and then back to economy class.
The Harrison kid is not on the level of the Fab 4 @Francis75 @KelandBeave to travel first class. He should be happy with a return ticket in coach and a standard room at the Novotel in Newcastle
When the FAB 4 rock up to an event it's through the VIP (Very Important Poster) entrance, Crown Lagers on ice, The Centurion Meal Package with the finest party pies and mini sausage rolls, 100's & 1000's on artisan bread for top shelf Fairy Bread and Vienettas served on silver (plated) platters.
Yep, he gave it away. Cited personal reasons at the time. He was very talented. I would like to have seen him in with Tim Tszyu who would have benefitted from the experience. As Beanstalk appears to have.
