Anyone care about Benn vs. Van Heerden this weekend?

    Didn't even know this was happening until my brother mentioned it yesterday. On paper Benn is potentially one of the biggest stars in Britain and Sky Sports (far more than Eddie Hearn) built him up very well.

    The fact that I didn't even know this was happening means very few casuals probably will. Can see this stalling Benn's career and I reckon a lot of fighters will be leaving Hearn over the next few years.

    The bloke literally looked a gift horse in the mouth, loads of people in America still think he's the biggest thing in boxing I think it's debatable if he's even the biggest promoter in Britain.

    I mean Van Heerden was a decent fight back in 2013. I remember him beating Matthew Hatton.

    Is that the level CEJ is content with?

    All the top WWs are either moving up or retiring. Conor will take over and fight the likes of Sandor Martin, who I have as the favorite.

    Yes, I'm a fan of boxing and Benn is entertaining boxer and I"m keen on watching his progress despite the dissapointing opponent and poor undercard with exception of CBS vs Mccarthy.

    I just heard about it too but benn is rubbish and more crap from Hearn. When will be face good opponent the guy is like 26

    Fish Eyes is on a par at the moment but it appears he's overtaking and it won't be long before Ben Shalom is added to that list purely and simply because he's been given the gift horse Hearn foolishly let loose.

    Can't stand the way women's boxing and women's sport in general is being pushed at the moment. I believe in free market supply and demand not cultural Marxism forcing a product on people and shaming those who don't want it.
