He needs to invest more in the regular shows instead of putting all his eggs in one basket for the big PPVs. The Yarde-Arthur cards were good and enjoyable but aside from that, everything has been quite average, to say the least.
Nathan Heaney is on the card, just down the road from Stoke, so Warren will have ticket sales covered. That's why this was never going to get cancelled.
Heaney is a big ticket seller, but nobody will be watching Warren´s show on BT Sport this saturday. They choose either Matchroom / DAZN or Sky Sports.
This card was very good on announcement, but injuries kicked Frank in the nuts. Not much he can do in this instance. It’s a fair general point though
Could the promoters not work together and sort out a proper schedule between them avoiding date clashes and maybe having some cross promotional cards. Most people will watch Sky on Sat while flicking over to BT and giving the Manchester Card a view on the laptop.
I said a good card. Davies - Cain & Foster - Baluta were 2 very nice fights they lost. Heaney’s opponent is also a slight upgrade on what he’s been facing before.
