Irish-American presence in boxing if they kept getting marginalized forever?

    I would make a couple of observations.

    Some white ethnic groups were highly marginalized in the 19th and early 20th centuries, and very likely to get the wrong end of the decision in a boxing match.

    Marginalized ethnic groups tend to gravitate towards boxing, rather than being bushed away from it.

    I mean they were neve likely to become the President.

    Travellers are a separate ethnic group and are not uniquely Irish.

    I don't know how there seen as in england, but in Ireland travelers are Irish and thats really it.
