Edward after losing the chance to promote a fight(er) starts spouting negative nonsense about said fight(er). hardly unexpected or surprising.
Perhaps if the same time & energy went into fights he's actually involved in dazn would be less of a shitshow

Good lad Dillian, know your role.

Now just smile along, Do what Frank says, Take your beating and run off into the sunset with your fake bro.

Its pretty mad to me that Frank didn't make his $41m dollar purse contact water tight when it came to promotion events.

Fair enough but the fact that he is now appearing at a zoom press conference tomorrow indicates that Warren was most likely completely in the right when he argued with Whyte’s lawyer about the contractual breaches on Talksport. I’d suggest that that has had an impact on Whyte’s actions today.

Fairly obvious that he has been served legal action for breach of contract. No way would he agree to do this otherwise.

That fact that I don’t know a single pub that has DAZN, and not one of my casual mates have it but they’ll watch boxing when it’s on sky.

    This.

The main flaw with DAZN is that it has almost zero marketing apart from social media.

Boxing is a niche sport. Most people will watch it if it’s free-to-air as part of their Sky subscription but wouldn’t go out of their way to download and pay for apps to watch it. There’s plenty of sports I watch on Sky if they’re on (F1, cricket, darts, golf etc) but I wouldn’t sign up to a streaming service and pay £8 a month to watch them as I’m not that much of a fan of them.

Exactly. I honestly think Hearn made a huge miscalculation believing it was him and his promotion that was drawing viewers to poor cards every week when in reality all it is is Sky playing a few vignettes inbetween other popular sports and it sparks interest. If you’ve had a few beers and watched a prem game at half 5 finishing around half 7, chances are you’ll stay on that channel and watch the boxing on straight after.
