Whiney type champions, always claiming conspiracies. We have had several champions in different weight classes who always cried foul when things did not work out for them. Let's hear some of these fighters.

    B-Hop jumps to mind.

The most notable incident being how he was deadset against Joe Cortez refereeing a bout because of Cortez' Puerto Rican heritage.
I remember he also went ballistic because he was convinced that Sky news kept him in a chilly hallway for a lengthy period of time. He thought that was a conspiracy.

There was also the very real conspiracy of Tito trying to wrap his hands illegally.

Hopkins was the first one I thought of too. Not so much for conspiracies but as the OP mentioned 'Whiney types who cried foul when things didn't work out for him.' I'm reminded of his first fight with Robert Allen, his first fight with Chad Dawson and his fight with Joe Smith. He always seemed to be on his back or landing out of the ring claiming he couldn't continue when his opponent was fighting back.

Wilder and his energy draining pre fight costume. He’s out to get himself…so it seems.

B-Hop, B-Hop, and B-Hop. The whining and excuses were never ending: Mercado, Allen, Trinidad, Dawson, Smith...

Honorable mention to Wilder. (But his excuses are likely due, in part, to his unusually low intelligence)

Larry Holmes. The bitterness against Spinks, the embarrassing comments about the deceased Marciano, the gleeful predictions about Tyson's future before their fight, the decades long jealousy and denigration of Foreman. Larry is the Whiney p4p king.

There was some bitching and whining with the Echols fight too.

In the boxing dictionary, Wilder's picture is next to "low ring IQ"....

    Bernard Hopkins definitely

Don't know how any could even justify Hopkins possibly getting the victory against Calzaghe. Bernard was using every excuse to avoid fighting in the later rounds.
