Broner is shot too. Hes too inconsistent, Benn would beat Broner right now. Avanesyan would be a better fight.

I don't think he's trash. I actually don't think he's too bad considering his limited experience and he's definitely improved. The problem is he needs to be put in there with a few names who will hit him back and make a fight of it. Like Avanesyan. Until then, the jury remains out. Now, if he sparks Avanesyan in 2 or 3 rounds, that's a different story...

Good win. He's doing what he needs to do at this level.

He definitely needs to be guided/developed more. Eddie is tripping with his post fight speech. The kid needs more than 2 fights before he's ready for elite level welters.

There's a reason they don't put Benn with punchers. He came within a hair of being KO'd by featherfisted journeyman Cedrick Peynaud, getting dropped twice in the first round, he's been protected ever since. There's a chance he could outpoint Broner, but he could easily tag an overly aggressive Benn coming in, if Granados can time and at times hurt him, Broner definitely can.

It's not like Avanesyan is world class either, he's a solid gatekeeper at best.

It's comical when you get the likes of E-Hearn claim fighters like Benn are huge stars and then in their next breath dismiss dangerous opponents who can punch because they have no name. Avanesyan is highly ranked and all these soft hitting has-beens they keep throwing Benn in with aren't. If Benn's a big star then he should be able to sell regardless
