Someone tell this ****ing ref that he needs to yell "BREAK" and not whisper "I got it, I got it" and that he needs to say "BOX" to resume action

 

Fight should have been a draw on my card but because of the point deduct and Stanionis winning the 12th he gets the win. Props to both. Rematch!!!

I have it 7-5 Stanionis. Close fight. 6-6 or 7-5 Butaev also ok. Will be a clear W for Stanionis though. I expect something like 117-111, 116-112...

 

everytime butaev put a bit of pressure stanionis looked like he couldnt take butaev's punches. It seems that butaev's tank was not enough to keep pressure up during rounds 6,7,8,9 and 10.... And it's a pity, because in round 5 I thought that stanionis would not see the end of the fight.

very good fight, though. Both fighters have class A chins, no doubt about that.

 

Could go either way. The ref should have taken a point from Stanionis with the head low and lunging in.
Both great fighters, looking forward to seeing them in the future. Great fight.

 

Stanionis should get this. Did a little bit more and closed last round strong.

 

Stanionis won this fight on that solid piston jab of his. He times his explosions perfectly, snapped that head back consistently with it because of its cleanness.
