Spence v Ugas .. ugliest ******* title fight Ive ever seen .. one looks like a wax work & the other looks like dried whale ****

 

Stan definitely won this and anyone stating the oposite is blind. Close fight yes but deserving winner.

 

Learn how numbers and round by round works. 9-3 either way is perfectly justified in a close fight like that. I could watch 9 of those rounds and score them differently depending on the day. You don’t score a fight as a whole, do you understand this?

Clear win for Stanionis. Butaev looked like he was building into a Beterbiev-Gvozdyk type of fight but ultimately took his foot off the gas and couldn't close the show. Stanionis looked like he was there to be taken if Butaev had another gear. The constant headlock and hit, hitting on the break, throwing the elbow tactics of Butaev earned him his point deduction. The referee was totally incompetent and neither fighter felt the need to listen to him.

Intelligent fight by Stanionis in that when Butaev tried to mount pressure, Stanionis would explode with a combination and sap his momentum. Harder shots, better jab, similar volume from the winner.

 

The commentators were biased but this was a tough fight to score right? Not many rounds were clear, so wider scores either way are justified.

 

No he was not. Stanionis was the one landing the harder, eye catching punches. And what a face looks like after a fight is not a testimony of who's won or not

 

Learn how to score a fight blind mother****er. You can't score a fight for ****. Butaev won at least 4 rounds CLEARLY. There is no way you can give Stanionis 3,4, 8 and 9. I would go even further and say 5 was a clear Butaev round as well. You don't have to give me advices ...you're here for a few months, i scored fights in here when you didn't know about this forum. So STFU you blind mother****er and blame your mother for not buying you any glasses.

 

116-111 Stanionius was the best card of the bunch. The other two were debateable, imo.

116-111 was only round off my score of 115-112 and there were a couple of Butaev rounds that could easily have swung the other way. I feel like any card from 8-4 Stan to 6-6 would be reflective of the fight we saw.

 

No, Stanionis was dipping at the waist and lunging in to hug and stop body punches. He was the only fighter who should have had a point deducted.
