Video not available in my country... I can guess or assume what it is though..Canelo attempting to throw a punch before Kovalev gets his off.. Aka countering...yeah I'm afraid that doesn't debunk any of my points

Oh no way, some other people said some things and that means it’s true? Spend some time understanding why you believe things, some epistemology, learning logical fallacies etc.
You clearly need some help with this, and I’m sure it will help alleviate your conspiracy thinking a bit.

Because Canelo stands still with his guard to invite a punch so he can slip and violently counter it? Lol have you never seen Canelo fight before?

That's not my point you insufferable pseudo-intellectual ****ing idiot. You've conveniently ignored my very valid points and attempted (and failed pathetically) to paint me as loony conspiracy theorist. What I was referring to in what I said there is that it's not an "out there" opinion to think that Kovalev Canelo was fixed

Well I can't see why he is so hard to catch, I mean you've worked Canelo out for us, Reynosa should be paying you hush money....

You literally didn’t make a point. You said that Kovalev looked different against Canelo. I don’t disagree. The difference between us is that I can understand styles and I understand that every fight is different, that every athlete has better and worse nights. As I’ve repeatedly pointed out, instead of that obvious observation you’re making outlandish claims about conspiracies and fixed fights.

You have literally zero evidence that the fight was fixed. I encouraged you to think it through so you would realise how foolish your conspiracy theory is. What part of that fight was fixed? Kovalev being clearly knocked out? Kovalev winning rounds? Canelo pressing forwards from the start and violently countering Kovalev whenever Kovalev committed to shots? Someone as proud as Kovalev just sold out his belt, was happy to get violently knocked out even though he knows very well the consequences of a boxing match?

See Kovalev in the Ward fights. Kovalev commits to jabs, and really steps into his shots. That’s because of Ward’s reaction to shots. Look at how much Ward moves in response to punches. He clearly doesn’t want Kovalev to throw his shots. In return, Ward throws committed jabs and holds. It’s a spearing match with jabs, with Ward being cautious. In the second fight Ward moved to him more, and Kovalev didn’t throw as many hard shots, then he wilted and got stopped by feather fist Ward.

Now look at the Canelo fight. Canelo wants Kovalev to punch so he can counter. Canelo is completely different than Ward. Canelo knows he can hurt him. He is throwing power punches. Kovalev is similar to Golovkin in that he doesn’t fight well being backed up. So Canelo is always moving forwards and pressing, high guard and looking for the counter. Kovalev is prodding with his jab in an attempt to get Canelo to open up so he can land his heavy shots. It’s not working, Canelo’s defense is too good. Canelo isn’t reacting like Ward, Canelo is trying to move as little as possible so he can use his energy for power shots, so he can wear Kovalev down. Kovalev is already drained from fighting again so soon. Canelo loses rounds due to low activity and Kovalev always trying. Canelo gets to him eventually and violently knocks him out.

Sure you can claim Kovalev wasn’t himself that night. To say that the fight was fixed is pure conspiracy thinking. You have exactly zero evidence for that. It is completely out there to think it was fixed. You look at styles, you look at Kovalev fighting again shortly after his last fight. Instead you want to ignore those obvious explanations for Kovalev looking drained and getting knocked out, and you jump to ‘fixed fight’? Why did Canelo have Kovalev fight again so soon, isn’t the consensus that was tactical so Kovalev wouldn’t be at his best? Given that, why would that happen if a fix was in? This is why I’m worried about you, this is a completely irrational and absurd position to take. It is flat earth level nonsense.

Anybody with eyes can see this. Canelo does this in every single fight. Look at the sparring footage of Canelo against Gvozdyk, see the guard in the corner with the quick slip and uppercut? Lol what do you actually see when you watch a boxing match, are you looking at the colour of their shorts?

Usually when boxers put their guard up it is an invitation to punch. Canelo is inviting them to punch so he can counter them. Unlike you, most of Canelo’s opponents have watched footage of Canelo and know what he is doing. When Canelo is putting his guard up and standing still, that is exactly the time you don’t want to be throwing punches or committing to anything. That’s why Kovalev is prodding with the jab at those times, and trying to counter a Canelo counter.
Let me know if you want me to explain more boxing basics to you.

Am I seriously going to have to refer to my post for nth time? Are you that dense.. :
My point is very clear. Kovalev neglected all his attributes he showed against bigger, heavier punchers in all of his fights previous - lateral, in out movement, hesitation to punches, commitment to his own punches. He throughout the fight did not sit down on punches and throughout the fight was pulling his punches. He was slowly pitty pattying Canelo who had a high guard pretty much the entire fight. Pretty much never throwing a hard committed shot. There are countless instances where Kovalev had clear openings to throw hard fast straights yet just slowly pitty pattied Canelo's guard for which much of the time Canelo wasn't even reacting to - hence Kovalev would have easily been able to land with faster commited straights, and something which would have been made all the more easier given the clear on display height and reach advantage.

Kovalev showed much more hesitation to Yardes punches (and literally all other opponents before that) than Canelo's yet throughout his fight with Yarde he was committing to pretty much all his punches, stepping in, fully extending and not pulling punches. This is something he did not do against Canelo who was there to be hit and did not demonstrate excellent defence that night as he was just simply plodding forward and not moving his head. This was a Canelo moving up two weight classes, and was no KO artist at 154 (with his notable knockouts being a 140lber chinny Khan and nobody past it Kirkland)... But Kovalev was scared of Canelo's counters? LOL terrible argument that just fails on every level here.

    I'll repeat myself again :
"Canelo is a good counterpuncher (he is overrated in this regard by many casuals to be some godlike counterpuncher) . His counterpunching ability is not to the extent his opponent forgets all ingrained attributes and fails to sit down on any punch. There are many examples where a better counterpuncher has faced much stiff resistance than Canelo face from Kovalev"

A fighter that comes to win against a counterpuncher does not prevent them throughout the entirety of the fight to not sit down on any punch and pull punches. And especially against an opponent who isn't a KO artist moving up two weight classes, and when Kovalev is known for sitting down on and stepping in on his elite of elite straights, jabs and 1-2S. Remember when Canelo was eating straight punches from smaller Lara and 36 yo Golovkin? Wonder why they didn't pull every single one of their punches and not commit to shots... That's right.. They weren't a sparring sessiom like Canelo Kovalev
No, you don't understand ****, your observational skills are rudimentary.
The fight itself. You are expecting there to be some kind of disclosure or document to "prove" the fight was fixed. Not going to happen. As there isn't this kind of proof you ignore all the obvious clues (should I say unable to put 1+2 together) in the fight that heavily point towards fix. See fights like Wilder Vs Malik Scott..that was as clear dive as it gets... Absolute nothing connects for the KO. I guess as there's no proof or disclosure saying it was fixed, it is not fixed then is it? Naive way of thinking.
Kovalev being knocked out and winning rounds means it can't be fixed? What kind of monumentally stupid argument is that?
Is it that hard to believe a racist alcoholic who has assaulted a woman, would not take several millions to spar and lay down? You're sounding ridiculous here
"Canelo's defense is too good".. You're laughable dude.. You have a child's view of Canelo as if he is some supreme being and undefeatable champion. You do remember that time he was eating smaller 36yo GGGs jab right and smaller Laras straight. Canelo best performances were against GGG. Canelo's defense was not on display that night against Kovalev and you'd understand that if you had any ounce of observational skills. He was plodding forwards allowing himself to be slowly pitty pattied whislt every now and then moving his head.
I can ask the exact same question. Why would Kovalev accept a fight with a 1 month training camp shortly after the Yarde fight? Sounds fishy does it not? Is it also not fishy that Garcia Duno on the same card that night looked suspect?
Comparing this to flat earth is just being completely intellectually dishonest. You're not just irrational, you are a naive hypocrite

Why don’t you just say that you’re paranoid and don’t understand boxing, instead of wasting all that time pointing to other fights? This is why I mentioned that you need to learn some epistemology, you’re just pointing to everything other than the fights and the facts. I get it, you’re good at the fallacy of composition. When you get even the slightest bit of evidence that the fight was fixed, have your cry then and I’ll join you.

I’m warming to the idea that Bivol can do something here, I’m on that train
