Ugas fought well and hurt Spence at one point but in the end Ugas’s defence didn’t hold up as well as I though it would and Spence was a lot fitter than I thought he would be.

he caught him with a free shot, when he wasnt looking, then proceeded to get his ass handed to him. i think spence is better than you thought, and ugas worse than you thought.

Spence sets a ferocious pace. Ugas is a very good fighter but the separation we saw yesterday was the difference with special God gifted fighter. Not sure Spence was even hurt it was just a free shot Ugas got off because Spence stopped fighting thinking the referee had called a halt to proceedings. Spence jumped on him afterwards to create the necessary separation. Apparently he he broke Ugas orbital bone.

I don’t think some realize how brutal that was for Ugas. Spence could have jabbed like he did against Danny but he adapts to his opponents style like he did against Shawn Porter. His physicality and pace is something I don’t think Crawford would be able to keep up with for a full 12..

A fighter does not have to totally dominate or kayo his opponent in brutal fashion to win. A great fighter adapts in order to win, that is a thinking man's champion fighter. Not everyone is Mike Tyson, that would be boring, the fights would be too short. Spence did what was necessary. Styles make fights as the saying goes.

Let me let you into a secret you may not be aware of, the way Spence fought yesterday is the real Erroll Spence Jr, he chose to fight both Garcia’s Danny and Mikey differently by boxing them. I agree with you about his pace and physicality would be to much for Crawford. Ugas is a big strong Welterweight but after hanging in tough with Spence you could see he was get brutalised.

That first part was simply for the ones who ignore how he adapts based on what his opponent gives him. How he fought Ugas is not 100% how he would fight Bud. I’m ready for that fight as it officially closes the chapter of this era of WWs. Spence just reminds me of a more athletic Tony Margarito with better defense. It wouldn’t shock me if Bud vs Spence plays out near identical to Cotto vs Margarito..

He is far better than Margarito who basically had no skills whereas Spence has great fundamentals.

He brought it early on to Spence and was a good fight.

His downfall was the eye and his lack of throwing punches as the fight moved along. Heck even with the bad eye had he just kept pumping out punches he still had a chance to drop Spence.
He buzzed Spence a few times
