If GGG believes he can do it and wants the fight then he just might see something. Leonard was about the only one who believed he could beat Hagler. Canelo didn't look that great against Plant. GGG'S critics said it took him long to warm up against Murata, while Canelo lost the first 4 rounds against Plant and looked gassed in and vulnerable in round 10 after letting his hands go. GGG has got something up his sleeve, and a trainer that is different from the first 2 fights. If GGG can catch him with something Canelo doesn't see coming he might take him out of there. Canelo isn't used to the fire power coming back at him in the last few fights. GGG'S going to make him work. I Invision a GGG KO, I definitely see Canelo getting hurt this time around.
Golovkin looks stronger than he ever has done. He's definitely slower, his feet are a lot slower, but his power looks blunt force trauma more than ever before.
Of course. He's 40 years old. Strength peaks in the 30s and early 40s. Problem for fighters is speed, reflex, stamina, etc. peaks in the mid 20s and can be extended to very early 30s at most. Golovkin looks strong as hell and slow as a sloth. Which is the exact stereotypical progression for an older fighter.
I thought he had a good chance in both and he needed to win by beat down to get a decision. I was right about needing to win by beat down. GGG always has a good chance for the KO. This time is no different only this time GGG will be the underdog with something to prove. GGG isn't those powderpuff fighters Canelo has been facing.
