What is your prediction of Campbell Hatton's potential career?

He gets stopped shortly against a no hoper, gets on the comeback trail only to low in a lacklustre display further on down the line.

 

Hes going to be a flop imo.

 

I think 20 years from now, when in a British pub people come up with "remember how good Hatton was back in the day?", they're not talking about Ricky, but Campbell

Hasn't got the one punch KO needed to be exciting & beat these tomato cans he's currently facing.

 

It s not gonna be good unless he improves a lot.

Unlike Conor Benn or some orhers it doesnt seem like he likes boxing either.

 

What do you base this on? Just curious (I haven't paid much attention beyond seeing his fights on Eddie's cards).

 

Everything seems forced to me about him.
Like a rich kid’s crisis in life in what to do and Hatton trying to continue living in boxing thru him.
Benn at least seems to like it even if not for street clout if nothing else.
Obviously he hasnt said anything on it just a gut feeling of mine.

 

Understood. I hadn't really picked up on any particular signs that he isn't enjoying what he's doing, so I just wondered if there was anything in particular you'd noticed.

 

He should have been a brain surgeon, naturally smart guy like him.

 

Wicky should have sent him to a good school so he could have learned something. Instead, he had his hanging around pubs from a young age talking nonsense and wasting his youth/potential.

Honestly joking aside, he has absolutely 0 power and horrible fundamentals and punching technique. At least with Conor Benn, Eubank Jr and Tsyzu they all have decent pop, this kid can't even pop a water balloon. He gets hit a lot and has fought nothing but pub fighters with losing records yet he looks to be about the same level as them. He's not gonna get much better, he won't even make it past domestic level, his pappy should of put him in promotion rather than pugilism.
