Well Kovalev isn't the draw so he isn't dictating much, bit one thing is a fact, and that's that Kovalev chose to fight Yarde instead of accepting Canelo's initial offer.
This claim needs something solid that points to a fix outside of these in ring observations. For instance, Kovalev has signed for pretty crappy fights since his loss. Where are the signs of a life changing sum of money paid outside of the normal purse process? He also got busted with PEDs since then. Canelo's own history shows a pattern seen everywhere in sports: he got busted after GGG 1 which was the first fight that really shook his confidence. For Kovalev, losing to Andre Ward is one thing, he avenged his loss to Eleider, but being put down by an active MW? That bruises the ego and makes you feel you need something to keep up. If he had come back in great form maybe it strengthens the case he intentionally held back, but he's acting exactly like someone who's had to swallow a bad loss that demonstrated they've lost a step.
Honestly can't believe that 29 people believe that Kovalev took a payment to lose on purpose. Kovalev said he took a short camp for the payday, he's old, alcoholic and had been twice knocked out. Canelo is the P4P number 1. Baffles me how anyone can watch that fight and just before the ko think "even fight this, Kovalev is probably up slightly, but I reckon it's a fix" likewise it baffles me that anyone can watch that ko punch itself and think the fix is in.
Yeah I've answered this many times to which you cannot provide an answer (apart from but "he had a short camp and is old" - which isn't an answer) , so please just stop. Re the underlined - Is it really that hard to imagine an older guy taking a big payday for two clean shots? Really? You really think that's baffling... Right
There's nothing to answer. I was making a statement that sums up the situation as I see it. Yes, yes I do. A huge amount of money was bet on the Canelo and Kovalev fight. If it was fixed it would have been investigated and proven by now. That it hasn't, but some people think they see something that no one else I capable of, that does baffle me.
Well actually my questions I posed to you and others answered the bold claims you made. Which you carrying on making, without ever acknowledging or even attempting to answer the valid points (which were wholly valid) I made. Hence you are completely set in your views. Need I refer to the points you made against my reasoning. Those two statements do not in the slightest mean the fight cannot be fixed. Thinking so is just frankly being dishonest. Yeah quite a few people can see through the blatant fix actually according to your poll, as well as pro boxers. And yes in this instance I can certainly see something that you cannot (or you refuse to believe despite the clear argument I have presented tiem and time again and your refusal to even try to debate)
You're absolutely full of ****. Shadows level of dishonesty here. I was debating at length with Lesions until he disappeared. I debate at lengths. I've never actually seen you debate and I'm being serious. You usually just make a few statements, scoot off and never answer anyones points. Typical of someone who is set in their opinion without exploring or trying to understand further.
@Quina74 without getting overly emotional just give me one single point you want to debate. Just one. If I try replying to a full post of yours you get upset and say it doesn't address anything. So let's try just one point and take it from there. After all this thread is purely about this fight and the potential of it being fixed.
You go through my posts and you find the points, I've repeated myself over and over, it's getting quite annoying actually
I've never seen a man have such personal disgust for another human being then Quina has for Canelo, it's almost impressive.
