Canelo vs Bivol - Prediction Video

I expect this to go the distance too, and with Canelo as the possibly controversial winner by close decision.

 

Deffo the sensible pick:-
1) Bivol ain't getting a decision against Canelo anyways, but being Russian as well?
2) That means Dimtry needs a stoppage, and thats a herculean task, given Canelo has never really looked close to be stopped in any fight yet - Canelo has a granite chin!
3) Bivol's only hope that I can see is to work Canelo's body and really hurt him there and make him gasping in the championship rounds

Stranger things have happened, but it's hard not to see Canelo getting to Bivol's body at some point in the fight.

I've always wondered whether Bivol has more gears to go through than he shows, he's really going to have to show it in this fight.

Bivol will need to tuck those elbows in & spin...He's going to earn his purse & in for a rough nights work...

I believe this will resemble the BJS fight in some aspects though Bivol is far superior to BJS.. I can't see Bivol discouraging Canelo with his punches and Canelo will land body shots. Bivol is a fine boxer but he doesn't hit hard at 175 and I think a puncher at that weight is what Canelo looks to avoid so I agree with Rummy that Canelo starts to chop Bivol down around the halfway point in the fight and may stop him late, of course if he doesn't Canelo wins a decision, heck those scorecards are already filled out.

 

Rummy predicted a Alvarez win... Which means most people want the Rummy curse in full effect on this one. Only the Canelo fans wouldn't want that.

 

Oh I see. But if Canelo wins he will go on to have big fights. If Bivol wins he will prob just defend against bums and do nothing with his new fame. (Also he’s Russian so he might get stripped of the belt if he earns to much money)

BTW...Bivol is not Russian; I don't know why this myth is being continued. Dude is from Tajikistan. Yes, he speaks Russian
but that's the language of the old Soviet Union which Tajik was part of.

I would love to see Bivol win a split or majority decision. It would mean a clean set of judges. But then, I believe the moon is made of green cheese.
