    It's still surprising for such a champion. After for his defense, he probably should have been against Sanchez in super-bantamweight then Marquez in feathers.

    That's why these stats are meaningless. For example Felix Sturm was 5 time world champion

    He should have been though, if that judge scored the 10-6 round right.

    But what does it really mean? Look at Broner, who is a "4 weight champ" by beating 1 very good fighter, 2 guys just inside the top100 for vacant straps and edging the by far worst 147 beltholder for his 4th weightclass.

    It's how they performed, who they beat and how.

    Wins over top fighters > having a green and red belt at the same time
    Broner was actually a 4 division champion, the WBA (Regular) title is a real world title when there is no (SUPER) champion. When Broner beat Allakhverdiev for the WBA 140, there was no Super champion, just the regular title and when he beat Paulie there was again no (Super) champion, just Paulie with the belt after he beat Senchenko to get it. Broner is a true 4 division world champion
