Not sure who wins between Michael Zerafa & the Headsplitter. Can think of three good reasons for each. The case for Issac Headsplitter 1. The Headsplitter has been more active. Far more so which matters. 2. The Headsplitter is physically stronger, tougher & hits harder. He can lose early rounds, soak it up & still be in the fight. I don't think Zerafa can do that. 3. He appears to have had better sparring. He's a part of that Gold Coast set up & sparred with the Tool Train in the first part of his preparation. The case for Michael Zerafa 1. He's vastly more experienced as a professional fighter having fought all over the world (albeit losing those fights). He's also been in high profile fights domestically against Horndog & could easily have a pair of 9th round stoppages to his credit. 2. I think he has better overall boxing skills & they're going to play a role in the fight at some point. How long for will determine the outcome, imo. 3. The fight's in Melbourne. All being even, home town advantage matters. I just hope the judges do the right thing by Australian boxing & score it straight up. So there you go. Three good reasons why each guy will win. So who does win? Sorry, don't know.
* Javier Centeno and Xander Zayas in Sydney and working with Ferocious. * Shuttle in WBO rankings and Jose Ramirez now moving to no 2 and looks likely him and Paro no 1 for Aug for world title showdown. * Mateo Tapia vs Argentinan Roland Mansilla May 7 .
Joel Camo would make a good opponent for Zayas. Maybe a little to risky at this stage of his young career but certainly would give him some rounds. And if he didn't and he managed to stop Joel. Well that would be impressive.
You make some good points. I am gonna go out on a limb and go with my man Mr Inbetween Hardman by late stoppage. I think that Zerafa has made a dogs breakfast of his career in the last 2 years and will pay for it Wednesday night.
Camo is a good shout for Zayas. Imagine if we get Nikita Tszyu v Zayas now that would be a good co main event.
I have the weird feeling that "I Suck Hard Man" gonna destroy Zerafa including a couple of KDs before he gets the stoppage. Zerafa looks like a guy who is barely training on a high level and just doesn't have it anymore. Lacks good sparring and quality training in general. Probably isn't 100% into boxing anymore?! Hopefully i'm wrong but can't back Zerafa here.
She looks in great shape, had a long camp and everything seems to be perfect. Seems much bigger than Esquivel aswell. Looks like a damn action hero!
Zerafa gets the win here i reakon, too experienced & just the better all round fighter, easy decision or late stoppage. Zerafa at $2.40 easy money
