Yeah, I do sense there is a personal bias going on there. Maybe Pacquiao promised Paulie a fight and never delivered. Who knows. I differ from you because I don't like Paulie as a commentator at all. His voice annoys me. Anyway, don't mind me. I'm just going to eat some popcorn and let you and Midnite go at it.
My take is that Paulie is jealous for multiple reasons and the biggest one is the success Pacquiao had and second was the style that he used. I noticed over time a lot of defensive style fighters think they are superior and smarter than offensive styled fighters. They tend to feel in disbelief when an offensive fighter does better than them. As far as Paulie's inside info, yeah he might have better sources, but it's all hearsay until they provide verifiable proof. I used to box and my trainer worked in Wild Card. He always heard rumors, but couldn't verify anything himself. He was also a conspiracy theorist and believes the government was trying to implant us with 5G technology in vaccines to track us. Great trainer, but boxing folks aren't always the most logical folks outside of boxing.
Here’s a reasonable point. Even when he was fighting at 130 Manny was rehydrating to the 140s. Also his power didn’t suddenly increase, his kos came from accumulation. Combine that accumulation with foot speed to dart in and out of range makes for a fantastic fighter, especially when he has a high output. Paulie is simply a moron.
The Mayweather family has been in the game since the 70s. You mean to tell me all this time they felt boxing was a fair sport until Floyd’s 39th fight? And it suddenly became suspicious because Manny was “doing things nobody has ever done before”, according to Floyd? Well here’s something nobody had ever done before. Win 5 titles in 5 divisions in less than 10 years, according to Floyd as well. Here’s another kicker, Mayweather senior was an actual drug dealer. So doesn’t that make Floyd even more suspicious considering his dad dealt drugs and Floyd did things nobody had ever done before? All that “suspicious” talk from Floyd was projection. I don’t even have to mention how he got caught at home.
Sounds a bit like you with Floyd. So are you saying that Heredia has given everyone he has ever worked with PEDs? Also in regards to Paulie giving Floyd a free pass why should he just work off what others have said? Paulie himself was at Wildcard and got it from the horses mouth he wasn't at the Mayweather boxing club. So Paulie is working with life experience not what has been said or written by others. You can call him all the names you like but he has much more credibility than you.
Yes Floyd could just as well have been on PED's I am not denying that. The points you are making don't relate to this situation you are just trying to deflect from Pac to Mayweather. If Pac wasn't on Floyd's radar as a potential opponent until his 39th fight why would he care before then? Also I believe Mayweaher senior sold crack so that is not really the same as PED's. As Paulie said there is a big difference moving up in weight fighting defensively cautious as opposed to just steam rolling guys.
I made points in a previous post. You just chose to ignore it. Why wouldn’t Floyd care before the 39 fights? Manny was never considered a serious opponent before, that’s why. Floyd felt threatened not only by Manny’s ability and results, he was threatened by Manny’s stardom surpassing his own.
Floyd had his own career to worry about so why would he care if Manny was on PED's if he was not a potential opponent. Of course you would be more concerned if you had to fight the guy than if you didn't so your logic makes no sense.
Exactly that is what I am saying but a crazy Pac fan like Joker can't comprehend something like that.
Paulie has been consistent and vocal on this topic and according to Freddie Roach he has been correct.
Pacquiao walked through punches Not only did he retain speed going up in weight, he seemed even quicker and much more powerful He never failed a test, but I would put my life on it he used To be fair, I would also bet Floyd did also. He looked very strong in the Mosley fight and bullied a guy that was presumed to be larger
