I am not comfortable rating active fighters. I think his resume thus far is excellent (hence the rating) but concede hindsight in 20 years time could make me look quite the fool.

    Not in any order:

1.Salvador Sanchez - any list like this has to include him. Destroyed legend Gomez. Massacred Danny Lopez. Beat Azuhma Nelson and stopped him.

    2. Pipino Cuevas - Before Hearns he was a wreaking machine and top ten hardest hitting welterweight of all time which is an incredible achievement. This guy BROKE BONES.

    3. Julio Ceasr Chavez - Dominated in multiple divisions.

    4. Vincent Salvidar- Seems to be the forgotten champion even know he has alot of impressive wins.
Kinda pressured fighters like Marciano but was more skillful and a southpaw.

    5. Ruben Olivares- Poster boy for left hook to the body and when he wanted to box he could as well.

    6. Miguel Canto- Mexico's Willie Pep and whose style was beautiful.

    7. Carlos Zarate - 63 kos in 66 wins. 2 of his losses occurred past his prime and one vs Kindle I consider a bad decision. Dominate champion not flashy and that's why he gets overlooked.

Man having only 7 spots for Mexico is HARD. So many great fighters.

Yeah, that's where the fun comes in too. Only having 7. Let's sophie's choice some mexican goats! But really, when confined to a smaller number, you really get to see THE CREAME OF THE CROP, AND WHO RISES TO THE TOP, OHHH YEAH. *Not sure why the MachoMan feel, but I dig it)
Anyway, got you logged @Cobra33 Thanks again.

Honestly, I was considering "Not" having him on the list (strictly based on him being born in Cuba), until I did my research. He was a Mexican Citizen. He legally received his Mexican Citizenship in the 60s from what I saw, and lived the rest of his days in Mexico after basically being cut off from Cuba/his family cause of Castro ****.

So long story short @Journeyman92 , I will accept Jose Napoles as an honorary Mexican, based on the fact that legally, he is one too. haha.
