Great shape? He is too heavy. The reason why he lacks stamina is mainly due to the fact that he is, to varying degrees, always too heavy. Unless he knocks Fury out within the first 5-7 rounds, he will be there for the taking. No doubt about it.

Agree mate. Keep a certain old man away from the camera and have a good night of boxing. May the best man win.

I was actually expecting him to look better. I dont know why though because like Tyson he's never going to be body beautiful.

Haye has confirmed he will be working for BT on Saturday, his response to John's comments below:

John Fury has called out any man in the country to come down to London and fight him. I wonder if Mickey Theo is in town?!

The show of respect and humility from both fighters just makes John Fury’s antics at the press conference look even more pathetic.

Minnie Mouse Theo is a midget - John towers over him. Get over that sacked M@tchroom employee:biggrin:

At least Theo has the balls to fight. He answered all of John Fury’s challenges and then John flat out ducked him by making a ridiculous financial demand.

To be fair to John, he has offered to fight Mickey for free but he seems to want it all on his terms. No big secret where John lives if Mickey really wanted it he could have turned up with a camera crew and offered John out there and then. Micky is only trying to make a quick buck out of John and john is wise to it.

It was clear from the start that the fight was to be in the ring for Charity - Big Joan Fury shat himself in front of the world and we all know he is a shytehouse.

A real fighting man would have got in the ring without thinking twice.

My thoughts exactly mate. Whyte seems in terrible shape for most of his fights, he could do with losing a stone or two and coming in ripped and mobile, but it's never going to happen I suppose. He's got heart, but he gasses too early.

Too much weight lifting and not enough road work, just like Joshua was pre fatty.

I hope Whyte proves us wrong, but just can't see it, except for a lucky punch.

I don't think Fury's got the same footwork as he once had but Whyte is so flatfooted and is so susceptible to the uppercut. I will be surprised if he lasts the 12 rounds.

I think Whyte will be blowing hard after 6 rounds, there's too much timber on that frame for a long haul. Similar to Usyk, Fury does use the feints so well which makes his opponents work hard cognitively as they try to anticipate what he's going to do.

    Fury by stoppage, round 8.

One thing going against Fury is that heavyweights (except Marciano) go unbeaten in their career. Heavyweight boxing has too many variables, one punch can change a fight.

Rubbishy undercard still annoys me. Fury is being paid way too much which has rendered the undercard a non event, fine if you are a causal Fury fan only.

Fury and Whyte sparred each other a long time ago. When both were young men with dreams. They're now both realising the pinnacle of said dreams together. 94,000 sell out in Wembley stadium? I don't think they can be bothered turning such a special moment into a slagging match. It's maturity as much as respect.

John looked tiny beside Dillian. He lost his tongue fairly sheepish when Dillian ruined him on TV.

I think Fury Is putting on a masterclass and stopping Dillian. It's his first chance to show what he can do in a huge British stadium with a huge British ppv. He's clearly put the work into camp. He looks healthy and happy but focused and cautious which is what he needs to do. Clear gameplan in place. When John was asked what will Fury do in the fight, he and Tyson looked at each other and almost giggled with John saying "I know exactly what he's going to do." They've a clear gameplan and I believe it's to box, move and punish. Dillian will gas after 8 and Fury will take him out.
