Boxing People who think PAC can defeat DelaHoya

He is correct to a certain degree however if he's basing that strictly off of the fights from Sturm to Forbes then he is in for a rude awakening. Those were all awkward matchups. Against Manny it wont be. Manny is a midget who likes to press the action and this plays right into Oscar's hands, he doesn't have the style to trouble Oscar in the slightest and no doubt Manny is gonna get sliced, diced and quartered.

Oscar's stamina issues are irrelevant to this discussion anyway. Manny will be knocked out early and if by some divine miracle he manages to stay on his feet and Oscar tires, it wont make a shits worth of difference as Oscar will be so far ahead in the scorecards.

 

Can't see this fight ever taking place due to the size difference, rightfully so in my opinion as I don't believe it would be a fair match-up.. Don't think Pac could make it past 6

I cant imagine how anyone expects Pacquiao to KO DLH. It took 9 rounds of non stop abuse on a decent fighter in Diaz to finally stop him at 135. Oscar is a great fighter at his natural weight class and doesnt nearly take the kind of punishment Diaz plus he has a fantastic chin. If Vargas,Mosley,Quartey,Mayorga couldnt do it how can Pacquiao ?

 

what are you smoking..the fight should have been called off in round 4 due to massive cuts. They just let the fight continue so there won't be any controversy and for the public's satiation for more blood:deal

 

to be honest..i think its just faith and support as fans and who wouldn't be but if they were looking at different fighters they'd be more objective. I'd rather see pac fight someone else meaningful

"Tito, vargas, mayorga, mosley etc. didn't KO dlh" --- these people aren't the measuring stick to gauge what a person can do on a certain instance. Every fight is a different scenario, take into consideration some other aspects such as age, comditioning. DLH was younger then compared to today.

mayorga..was still a bit recently, DLH is not that old and still a game fighter, in fact i think mosley is more past prime than dlh.. every fight is a different scenario you are right, and pac is another scenario and a scenario where we see a small size fighter against a big fighter and not just big but the size comparison between them is insane and a mismatch
