Again, you're not wrong. He's absolutely gash in terms of commentary. His corner instructions on the other hand, are always clear and very constructive. I think Parker is fairly rated. He's a good fighter but he's just way too nice.
I think Parker wins a close points decision unless he gets robbed, he’s underrated here in my opinion. Made some big improvements under Andy Lee. Joyce is good but beating Dubois isn’t as good as it was made out to be. Will this fight be on PPV by any chance ? If it were an old Matchroom show on Sky Sports, it would have been PPV for sure.
Interesting to see if Parker has enough dog in him to mix it a little with Joyce. He has the potential to outbox him with his faster hands and feet but inevitably he will need to out fight him or succumb to Joyce’s pressure. Good fight, possibly the best non title fight out there at heavyweight.
Only PPV if it undercard for a Joshua fight. Parker vs Joyce not a chance would have landed on sky box office as main event. As for BT, remember Joyce vs Dubois was originally set for PPV but BT changed there minds when they realised it would flop hard. Can't see them going down PPV route for this one.
Absolute nonsense. Joyce - Parker would 100% have been PPV on Sky and it will be on BT. They are even trying to work out if they can put Marshall v Sheilds on PPV FFS. As for Dubois v Joyce they had to completely change the financials due to Covid hitting, after they lost the money from the crowd which was set to sell out. People were also out of work etc, plus Sky had a PPV the week or so before so it wouldn’t have worked putting all that together.
Frankie Boy is on fire although this is never a Box Office fight - simply an intriguing competitive Heavyweight fight without a title.
But neither Parker or Joyce have the drawing power of Whyte and that's why I am saying it wouldn't be a sky box office fight.
I like this fight. Two top 10 heavyweights in their prime going at it. All we can ask for. Winner deserves a title shot.
Good fight. Real 50/50 for me. Might sell out Leyton Orient ground but cannot see this as a stadium fight unless other big fights on bill that draw crowd in.
I’m pretty sure this will end up on PPV. Although I really like this fight I can’t see it selling well without a strong co-main. Yarde vs a name perhaps? Not even sure that’s enough. I like both Joe’s. My initial pick is Parker on points. Joyce is just so easy to hit.
Close fight. I like both guys but want Joyce to win but I give Parker the slight edge in this one due to hand speed.
