To be honest when has Whyte ever truly been fit for a fight ? he always looks like he carries far too much weight and is lethargic in the ring. He weighed 253 for Fury that's pretty much his average weight for most fights give or take a few pounds. His best performances against Browne, Helenius, Parker, Povetkin 2, he weighed 254, 247, 258, 246, 247. I guess you could say maybe his best weight should be high 240s ? but i still think he could lose some weight.

Looked like they were trying to attack Fury's body all night but quickly realized Fury is almost always out of range. They managed to attack his right side but couldn't even get a jab or straight down the mid-rif due to the range.

Wilder was long enough that he could do that but he quickly got tired trying to carry out that gameplan

To be honest Whyte knew from the outset is would be a near impossible task and he needed to put the hurt on Fury or rely on Fury being off form. You could see some pensiveness about him.

Fury knew he had his number. He was cruising waiting till Whyte disarmed himself, moment Fury put his arm up at the end of round 4 the bout was over. He had him.

Is that really what you're gonna stick with as an excuse?

Wjytes small head doesn't pump enough blood round his body. Then he gives himself whiplash.

He was starstruck and a little frightened. Happens, sometimes.

He was on his 100% i would say. He pretty much trained his **** off for this fight.
The problem is, AJ and Povetkin took his chin away. His chin is pure china now.

He spent a lot of money on training camps down in Portugal so there's no doubt he was in top shape. Maybe bulking up was a mistake though.
I think the occasion took a toll on him as well

Do we consider a grown-up person with IQ of an 4-month baby to be fully fit?

He was probably just shattered after walking 2 miles to the ring

A lot of nervous energy will have been burned prior to the 1st bell even being rung

Whyte is a good fighter but has slow feet, was always going to struggle closing the distance to get his shots off against Fury.

A boxer cannot always know what strategy an opponent is going to have, so could be caught by surprise on fight night.

However what was not a surprise for Whyte, was that he on fight night he was fighting a opponent who was considerably taller with longer reach, yet he did not appear to have tried to change anything to combat this, (easier said than done of course), just Whyte doing what he normally does.

Ah well Whyte had the chance which he had sought, and came "up short" though Fury did try to get him on tip toes with that uppercut.

Whyte is deeply deluded if he really believes that to be the case.
