Nick Ball was fantastic last night and showed shades of Mike Tyson in his demolition of Issac Lowe

Credit where credit is due, Nick Ball is a 5'2 wrecking machine and I will be keeping an eye on his career going forward. In no way does he does he owe Lowe a rematch and Victor Loughlin's referring was a disgrace.

Agreed. Very good fighter, really strong and definitely one to keep an eye on. Lowe deserves credit too. Hard man. I don’t understand how the ref didn’t jump in when Lowe was through the ropes.

I really don't get why the WBC would make him defend against Isaac Lowe, he won easily. Was miles clear before the cut as well. Really odd.

Frank Warren won the purse bid for

Nick Ball vs Nathaniel Collins for the British. Could be a good fight

    The lad demolished him.

What peeved me off in that fight was watching nearly all of the crowd in the front 2 rows not remotely interested in the fight in front of them and not even glancing to see what was happening.

Very impressive performance by Ball last night, looking forward to seeing him fight again. Lowe is one tough dude who was let down by the ref, although I don't think it had any bearing on the result. Ball was putting a beating on him and the cut was horrendous, Lowe was never seeing the final bell. I didn't like seeing Ball get two free hits at the end with Lowe expecting the ref to separate them. Those are the type of punches that can shorten careers, and now after two defeats in his last two fights, I do wonder if Lowe's best days are now behind him.

I've watched this a few times now and I don't understand what Lowe was thinking...why did he think the ref was going to separate them? It doesn't look good but not sure the ref did anything wrong...Lowe just decided not to defend himself!

Nick Ball will have earned many fans on the weekend. Superb performance and he has a really fan friendly entertaining style.

Lowe showed a lot of heart, he was on the receiving end of a lot of stick and showed a lot of grit and toughness to stay in the fight but the cut was the icing on the cake. It was a bad cut and he was on limited time before the fight was going to be stopped so he had to go out and chase a stoppage.... when you do that and have to become more gung-ho, your at even more risk.

    Good fight, enjoyed it.

Ball really grasped his chance with eyes on him at a big show as opposed to Essuman who was in a dull fight as chief support. BT didnt even interview him so he was kinda lost in the event.

Cacace was the one I feel sorry for. Could have really been his breakout moment and hope he fights on.

First time I've properly watched Essuman.

I've heard many talk him up including Froch but he didn't impress on the weekend.

If he'd have really put on a performance and won in style, the Conor Benn shouts would've came in but that won't be the case.

He should have stopped the fight with Lowe failing to defend himself (arms dropped and back turned) furthermore it appeared the ropes were holding him up after the first left hook he took in the corner. I'm not sure what Lowes was thinking at this point but he made a major error of judgement, maybe he was aggrieved that Ball manhandled him into the corner, either way he should defend himself at all times.

Worth noting that Nick Ball went from 1.2k followers Saturday night to 5k.

One sided beatdown. Lowe was very tough to hang in there but he gave up in the end. I don't blame him.
