    Genuine question.

Fury hit Whyte with an uppercut yes which really didn't look like Whyte was going down (I might be wrong) but clearly pushed him with both gloves to the ground which was the finish.

This was more prominent than when Lennox Lewis pushed Mike Tyson to the ground when they fought.

Why has no one mention that? Pundits, fighters etc.

    Again generally curious.

I assumed that Fury felt the impact of the uppercut and knew he could just push him and Whyte would have no poise to hold himself up.

Either that or the fix is in and Whyte bet on a dive in the 6th.

What are your thoughts on it?

Wlad did the same to Pulev when he nailed him with the final left hook. If you fall over from a small push, it means you are seriously concussed. But more importantly, if you can't continue the fight, it suggests the push was not the fight ending blow.
So let's say the ref decides the push was what caused the KD.
The problem then is they check on the fighter and either they can't get up or they're stumbling around like a drunk.
This confirms a fight ending punch.
If the guy jumps up and is ready to rock, then the fight would continue.

If he went doen from the push he could have continued.

He was out on his feet hence that uppercut chinned him good.

Whyte looked like he may have been going down anyway but how Fury wasn't penalised for that is pretty ridiculous. The act of pushing someone to the floor faster may have resulted in Whytes head landing on the canvas with more impact hence being unable to recover quickly. Really Whyte should have been given 5 minutes.. Like how fighters are given 5 minutes for low blows. These are illegal tactics ffs. Just shows how corrupt boxing is. Who knows if the push impacted Whytes recovery? It could have, especially as Furys uppercut looked halfway between a full on uppercut and a grazing punch (it certainly had good impact and Whyte head jolted back on impact)

Fury isn't new to illegal DQ worthy finishes. See the Cunningham fight for example. Fury illegally pulls his head back at 90 degree angle with his forearm then smacks him in the face with the other arm. This is outright DQ worthy, I don't even count that as a win from Fury. In any other rule following sport, that would have been disqualification. When stuff like this happens it just becomes a pantomime, everyone knows the promotion wants their guy to win and they'll do everything to ensure that. Boxing is not a sport

What do you guys not understand these are illegal tactics

Whyte was stumbling all over the place after he got up. You think it was the push that caused that? Lol.

On the replay you could clearly see that this didn't happen (Whyte's head doesn't initially hit the floor when he goes down) so I don't know why you mention this as a possibility.

I don’t know why more people don’t call him out for his dirty tactics. Fury is always wrestling, fore arming, getting guys in headlocks, holding and hitting.

Whyteleafe was out cold from that punch. Totally gone. Woke up when he hit the canvas and showed some HEART to stumble to his feet like bambi on stilts on ice. Ref saved him from a career ending finish. Whyteleafe will live to fight another day and may pick up some vacant bauble but has never been world level.

My dad said Its a fix funnily enough. I don't think that however I suppose they really couldn't let Whyte carry on. Difficult decision really but I really did feel the push needed to be expressed verbally by the pundits live.

The finish was the uppercut. There was a shove no doubt but just look at the state of Whyte when he got up. Bare in mind he was visibly hurt prior to this too.

The uppercut did the damage and finished Whyte off.

That s what you implied otherwise the push has no bearing on the final result.

Looks worse in slowmo than it was.

Fury may have just thought Whyte was trying to hold on to buy himself some recovery time.
