Whyte should have been given extra time to cover from illegal push

He's delusional. Whyte was out on his feet and going down anyways. Fury gave him a love shove that wouldn't have hurt a 10 year old.

Whyte barely got to his feet at the count of 8, and would have fell again if not for the ref and the ropes. A light shove cannot hurt someone so badly that they're stumbling everywhere with glazed eyes. He was 100% done and Fury would have battered him senseless if it continued.

Listen man, if you are a 250 pound human being and you get sat on your butt from a push like THAT, you are knocked out and can't continue.

He’s not saying the shove hurt him, he’s saying that hitting his head on the canvas hurt him. When people get knocked over on the street the ground is the danger, not the punch. We can all see it was a grazing punch that buzzed him and Fury shoved him down. Not that it would have changed anything, but by the rules of the sport Whyte clearly has a point.

It’s an excuse from Whyte and I actually think Fury saved him from a brutal KO, but the thing is when you shove someone as blatantly as he did it’s going to give Whyte an opportunity to use it as an excuse. And here we are. It’s still an illegal move at the end of the day and I’m a bit baffled as to why Fury felt the need to do it when he could have just finished him properly.

There was plenty of pushing and shoving earlier in the bout, does Whyte want himself penalised for that.?
Fury pushed Whyte away not down with 2 gloves after the uppercut, see the distance from the push to Whyte hitting the deck.

Wlad's career in shambles if pushes aren't allowed.

No but if you look closely you can see Whyte clutching at straws on his way down already.

How long will it be before Hearn mentions this "controversy" with a fake straight "honest mate" face?

Why prolong the agony? Fury would only have made a mess of him.

Didn't look like he hit his head hard to me. He's just milking this out to stay relevant.

Dude lost every single round and was clipped by a shot he didn't see coming. He was going down anyways, which was my main point. That's a danger that comes with the business of boxing, possibly hitting your head on the canvas when you're dropped lol.

Hearn doesn't care about Whyte. He never did. Whyte was always the red headed step child to the golden goose Joshua and a backup plan.
