Tyson Fury vs Vitali Klitschko would be the GOAT H2H battle

I hate to say this because I don't think Vitali did anything wrong by retiring against Byrd, but the difference here is that you really do have to nail Fury to the canvas to beat him. You can't watch the Wilder 1, Wilder 3, and Wallin fights and not understand that Fury would rather suffer almost anything than loose.

Again, no disrespect to Vitklit, and, to be fair, Fury never blew out his shoulder like that.

Another thing is that Vitlkil almost always had a significant size advantage, whereas in Wilder and Wlad, Fury has beaten two dance partners of comparable, if slightly smaller size.

Good fight, though.

 

I feel like Vitali vs Fury would be less exciting than it's mythically hype like Floyd vs Pacquiao

Lewis vs Fury would be much better because Lewis was highly agressive against taller men.

Vitali was not the best HW of his era much less GOAT. He was beaten (cut to bits) by a guy who has
a legit claim to GOAT, Lennox Lewis. Vitali lost to Lewis and previously went out to Bird like a fool on his stool.
That ain't a goat resume.
That said, he is bravely fighting for Ukraine and should be honored for that.

 

Nah, my fave H2H's with Fury would be against the Lewis that smoked Morrison or Golota or the Mike Tyson that crushed Berbick, Pinklon Thomas or Tyrell Biggs cuz that MOFO was the baddest Mutha effa on the planet.

Too high an punchoutput and too good a chin on Vitali. Same size, but much harder to win rounds vs a fit Vitali as vs a fit Fury.
