When you claim you want to be the baddest man on the planet by winning the heavyweight championship, you can’t act like a school child and go running crying to mommy how the mean boy pushed you in the sandbox. What a goober.
Right here goes... Anyone who thinks that push is relevant... YDKSAB (I've never used this acronym before but feel it's necessary)
Parker did it against Chisora for one of the knockdowns with the exact same technique as Fury, so it's clearly a Kronk tactic.
Ridiculous. I hope Whyte gets brutally knocked out every fight onwards Fury kncoked him out, and he'd do it even easier.
I knew as soon as the fight ended two things A) Whyte was already out and if Fury sneezed he would of dropped Whyte B) this would result in Whyte or others claiming "Pushgate"
LOL. This is what happens when you are let outside the Mushroom clubhouse.. Eddie needed to explain how things are different in the real world..
It's pretty clear from the TopRank footage above that it wasn't "a little nudge on his way" On that twitter post have a look from 0:11 He visibly puts weight into that push. Two hands up full extension, exhaling as he does it. Sending Whyte to the canvas and even moving himself back in the process. Remember Fury ain't some small man. That is a level above what Klitschko or Lewis did. But hey, personally whilst an illegal tactic, I think Whyte should just accept Fury was the better man on the day. But I understand how a fighter the next morning would be clutching at straws and feeling hard done by. And as @Dubblechin said, it's not so different to how Foreman approached fights This content is protected Still a great win for Fury.
Had Tyson Fury punch him again while he was buzzed like that we may have been talking about a life changing KO instead.. Fury actually did him a favor by pushing him instead of punching him.. I remember when Wilder landed that big shot in the 12th round of the 1st fight, I felt the shot that landed as Fury was falling would have been worse had he landed it flush.. Dillian was in the same kind of predicament..
This is the point I was making earlier. If he had not pushed him, he'd have landed another huge shot. Pushing him down was doing him a favor, because obviously he was out already. Whyte should be sending Fury flowers in gratitude.
It was a push to create separation which is common especially after uppercuts. No one falls from that push unless they are knocked out on their feet
Oh I agree that no one falls unless they are already unsteady on their feet. I'm not sure the intention was separation though. The goal was just as likely to be pushing him to the canvas. Still as above, it is not actually an asterix on the win for me. I think it's still a great win for Fury.
