While i feel Lewis was the stronger man i think Liston brutally beats him in the streets.

    Street fight?

    Liston wins. By literal murder.

Liston had cannonballs for fists. Liston would probably kill Lewis.

    Liston f*cks him up.

Lewis then takes him to court for damages.

I mean, Lennox beats him in the ring and you have literally zero idea how a street fight would look between the two.

    This.

Most likely outcome, based on the actual record of Liston's encounters with the law, is Lewis calling the police and getting Liston arrested.

Boxing is obviously a very restricted so yes in the street it could go completely different to in the ring, believe it or not but some world class fighters wouldn't be able to take certain journeymen out the ring. Lennox was never much of a street fighter based on his own account but he stated he has been in a few, realistically this wouldn't be easy with his size, strength and power but the safe bet would likely be Liston.

Guys like Danny Hodge, Mike Tyson, Hasim Rahman, Nikolai Valuev, Tex Cobb, David Tua or Ike Ibeabuchi are probably much better in this setting against a prime Sonny Liston than Lewis.

I don't think so, though the Steward-era Lewis would have more of a chance. Lewis had a good, not great chin, and Liston hit harder and better than McCall and Rahman, and was a better boxer than either..throw Briggs in there as well. Liston could also outjab any of the above on his worse day.

H2h boxing Liston comatoses Lewis in 4 rounds.

Streetfight Lewis stays in the coma for months.

Btw, I'm a fan and great admirer of Lewis.

Liston is the king of street fights, maybe only Holmes stands a chance if he lands a good drop kick.

Wouldn’t Lewis also lose to Rahman in a street fight given their studio brawl?

Memories of 1957 when Liston put that Policeman upside down in a dumpster in an alley.

Sonny Liston probably shows up with his pals, Frankie Carbo and Blinky Palermo. Someone told Sonny that Lennox Lewis was trying to steal his block. Liston always beat up someone in the Prison Yard, he owned it. The streets are the streets, no referee, no bell, no rules against low blows or kicking. As big as Lennox Lewis is, Sonny just brutalizes him, kicks him in the Cajones, tags him with those massive 14 inch fists, the fight is over very quickly. Then Mike Tyson arrives, telling Lewis You Will Ever Have Any Children but man am I hungry!

A focused Lewis beats Charles in any setting, ring or cobbles. He is a bad man.
