Was thinking about this and both fighters became undisputed champion in their weight class but many feel that they didnt fully live up to their potential.

Zab Judah had much better longevity, even after losing a few times he did end up getting some good wins here and there.

Once Douglas beat Tyson, his career flatlined and he never beat a notable opponent again.

Surprised Zab winning this…Douglas at least reached the pinnacle…afterwards fell hard (not out of the norm in boxing history).

Zab has my vote for the most wasted talent to ever walk into a ring. Just couldn’t get it done to many distractions in life. So much raw talent.

Zab Judah won world titles in two weight classes with combined 10 world title wins. Best wins against Junior Witter, DeMarcus Corley, Lucas Matthysse, Cory Spinks, Rafael Pineda.

Buster Douglas won Heavyweight world championship 1 world title win. Best wins against Mike Tyson, Oliver McCall, Greg Page, Trevor Berbick, Tex Cobb.

Buster Douglas has the biggest win out of the two clearly, but as for overall career Zab Judah clearly wins that debate.

Douglas had one big win and then never achieved anything noteworthy again, and your saying atleast Douglas reached "pinnacle" but at one time Zab Judah was considered one of the best Jr Welterweights in the world. And won world titles in two different weightclasses.

Zab Judah clearly did better in his career than Douglas did. It could of been more for Judah but still it's not like he had a terrible career, he did achieve quite a bit. His first loss against Tszyu was against one of the best Jr Welterweights in the modern era, and his loss to Mayweather was against one of the best P4P fighters, in the modern era in a competitive fight i might add.

I don't really count his losses towards the end of his career when he was past it.

We can say Buster pulled off the biggest upset in boxing history. But that was it. No more. So I'll go with Zab.

    Douglas has wins over
    Tyson
    McCall
    Berbick
    Cobb
That’s a pretty damn good top four wins and better then Zabs top four by a bit. Now Zab looked great against Mayweather but he def could have been better in other fights.

Judah done more at championship level and won titles in two weight classes, McCall and Cobb are just tough contenders really. There certainly not any better than Spinks, Matthyse, Pineda, all 3 of these guys won world titles.

I just don't see how you can rate Douglas above Judah, the only argument is that clearly Douglas has the best single win out of the two. But as for overall career's there's no way Douglas can trump Judah's, two world titles in two weightclasses and 10 world title wins.

Dishonest. None of them were near their best.

    Absolutely not dishonest
Maybe you should look up the definition of dishonest. I made no claim they were at their best. Just he had better wins then Zab…which he does. There is zero special about Spinks or Corley or Ward when he beat them either. Douglas beat the baddest man on the planet. Zab had his shot and didn’t win.

Maybe not dishonest, but I think you’re unfamiliar with Zab’s resume and how the guys he beat were ranked when he fought them. It’s all easily searchable.

Buster pulled off the greatest upset in sports history. That's a massive entry on his resume and cannot be ignored.
