How did you score his fights vs Stewart, Savarese, Schulz, Briggs.

Has far as I remember, I had the Stewart fight a draw and the Briggs fight a close one for George.
Schultz, pretty sure I had him winning George by a couple of rounds.
Savarese, to be honest, I only watched a few rounds of this but can't remember many saying there was anything dodgy about the result.
But it is a long time ago.. Memory ain't what it was.

Same but I had Savarese winning.

Oddly, I had Foreman-Morrison a draw last time I watched.

I really only recall narrowly giving him the nod over Briggs and Stewart. Savarese and Schultz could have gone the other way

Morrison - Foreman, Blimey I think I had Tommy just but perhaps getting mixed up. He did have a few decisions fights in his second career.

That fight was among the most hyped piece of garbage ever. I got told all about Tommy's genius IQ in that one, little 14? year old me could see "White Tyson" ran ragged from a senior citizen.

Throughout a lot of years of Boxing, Lineal Heavyweight Champions have gotten the benefit of the doubt in close decision title fights. George Foreman was no different. I was surprised when Shannon Briggs was given the decision win over George, even though the Judges were inexperienced. I scored the fight for Foreman, myself. I'm of the opinion that George would have probably retired soon anyway, either way. Briggs went on to lose his fight with Lennox Lewis, so the Lineal Title was passed on to the right guy after all. Lennox was certainly deserving of THE belt.

Agreed. Especially since a 48/49 year old Foreman wasn't going to fight, let alone beat Lennox Lewis.

Morrison did fight a smart (but scared) fight against George and deserved the win (barely).

George definitely should have gotten the nod against Briggs but Shultz got robbed big time.
( Another German fighter Sturm got robbed even more against DLH)

Morrison squeaked by the Foreman fight and looked like a wuss doing it. Hard to blame him for his tactics, he couldn't have won any other way, any kind of serious brawling and his chin would have given out for sure. And hey, he won!

Schulz got robbed, but so did George against Briggs. I always wondered if George in the latter fight got paid back by the judges for the Schulz robbery.

I thought Savarese got clearly beat.

I always felt Foreman beat Schulz, I've only seen it once and maybe I'll rewatch it and do scorecard one day. But the feeling I had was I didn't understand why everyone else thought it was robbery, but maybe I'm the one who's scoring is off, I'd like to revisit it one day.

I remember feeling that Foreman beat Briggs but lost to Schultz. Stewart fight was very close maybe even a draw and I don't remember the Savarese fight.

It's really what someone I knew called him, I stopped listening to anything he said about boxing afterwards.

I remember arguing adamantly that George beat Stewart, but that maybe because I was one of his original comeback fans. Loved the man. I honestly don't remember the fight that well except that George scored a knockdown which made it plausible.

Schultz beat him pretty clearly. Again, don't ask me for a round by round. Don't remember. But I thought we had witnessed the last hoorah of the comeback.

Savaresse I don't remember at all. I think I honestly thought he was such a **** opponent I skipped it.

He beat Briggs, who, and let's be fair to him, sucks.
