Before the Fury fight a lot of people said Whyte would knock him out. Fury can't handle that left hook. Oh man there's going to be an upset. And now Whyte is shot, old, wannabe, never was and Fury cheated. Will Usyk go from Superman to nothing when he loses ?
Whyte is still an extremely strong rough tough very good fighter. Pretty much everyone in the division would be more than wary of him. He's given everyone he's fought a tough night. Some very good men. He is a handfull physically for pretty much everyone but Fury who has underestimated strength, who is probably the strongest heavyweight ever. He has the torso of a caveman. Literally flinging off Whyte & Wilder who are powerhouses without thinking. Problem is Tyson Fury is THAT good that he can do that to him in 1st gear, 1ST GEAR! Fury was always his worst style matchup. Fury deals with plodders like that in his sleep. AJ is the same...but just a little taller.
Just how did Whyte get his number one ranking in the first place. He should be grateful for a shot at the title.
I agree. Whyte has been a tough fight for everyone except for the Fury fight. He was WBC mandatory for a long time. People forget very quickly. Look at the interest for Parker and Joyce, yet Whyte holds a win over Parker.
I think he got his rating from beating Helenius but not sure. But before he got his title shot he beat Chisora twice, who seemed suitable for Usyk to fight after him before a title shot, Helenius mentioned above Undefeated Browne Parker Undefeated Rivas Povetkin loss and win Look at the other recent WBC title challengers in recent times at HW I don't think Molina, Duhaupas, Szpilka, Arreola, Washington, Stiverne had done as much before getting a shot at the same title. I don't think Ortiz had done as much before getting 2 shots at the same title
Beat Parker, Povetkin, Rivas, Chisora, All this true. His resume was one of the strongest outside the champs.
Nothing heroic about that fella if true, who is the mother and how old was she when he got her pregnant by the way...
He was puffed up by Fury haters who thought Whyte could land a left hook from the gods and that the nightmare that began on the night of Fury-Wilder I would end. No one actually cares about Whyte or thinks he's anything but mediocre aside from Fury haters and Joshua fanatics.
