My LIKES have caught up to my posts! EDIT: By mistake I posted this in the wrong room. Would some kind Moderator please move it to the Lounge for me?
Ummmmm.......no. I have almost exactly one like for every two posts I make, so it says. I have off days, it seems. Or I'm just a *******.
This isn’t really fair to the people who’s majority of posts were before likes were a thing here, myself included
Congratulations! This is truly a memorable day. Definitely on par with events like the second milk tooth, the pottery wedding anniversary, the name day of the first pet or reaching the 113 trophy points.
Not doing too shabby for the resident gadfly. I was shocked to see my ratio, never paid it much mind.
That's fair, I actually am the sole/first like on quite a few accounts because I scour the old corners of the forum stalking long gone posters for new knowledge.
@djanders - Yes, we like you, we really do like you! That single post has netted you a small fortune in likes in itself. Clever man!
But we can still like said posts now or are they gone? I’ve liked posts and then realised that some have been over 10 years old, still counts, LOL. I’ve been remiss in forgetting to “like” posts that I’ve actually enjoyed - but I’m getting better at remembering. Maybe replace “Boxing Junkie” with “And please, don’t forget to LIKE!”
I mean yeah you can go back and like them, but since those threads haven't had any action in years and aren't on the front page, they're very unlikely to be noticed.
Now I have to post to find out. (They probably don’t.) EDIT: C’mon guys, I just need about 5K likes and I’m in the good. Little help here please.
Sure, I get that. Then you’ve got some serious bumping and not so subtle pointing to do. We need Moneytheman12 back - he used to resurrect a lot of those dusty old threads that were carved into stone tablets. Back then it took a few days just to submit a four line message so you had to make your words count - and, shall we say, be of biblical importance. I’m now counting down the seconds to my being SMITED.
