There's probably quite a few who are thought of as good yet did shady things. Regardless, I always separate art from the artist. I'm not fussed about how strong a boxer's moral compass is. That's not why I was drawn to the sport. The decisions of those outside of the ropes does not dilute my interest.

I dont k ow how anyone could rank Spadafora that high? Sure he has some issues and misdemeanors but nothing THAT bad. The shooting instance was also blown out of proportion.
This forum is so weird. A lot of the stuff written, imagine hearing it spoken from someone's actual mouth and not just seeing it as some text on the internet, it really changes the way I look at some posters here.

I was more referring to actual weird stuff, people talking about how robust, thickly muscled and powerful Sonny Listons haybale built body is, absolutely succulent. LOL.
I don't get it, A lot of weight is put on there outside the ring life and it seemingly affects there standing. For me all that matters is if it affected the fights. I couldn't care less if Roberto Duran was a serial rap1st and sold slaves to the Manson family I watch him to see him fight, it doesn't make him any less great.
